The Weekly Weigh-in Thread.

Started some calorie cycling (zig zagging) to see if I can't shake up the weight loss again. I have pretty much stayed within a pound for the last 3 weeks so am hoping doing this will start moving the scale again. Started yesterday and managed to drop about the pound I gained having family here for a week (ie I cooked 3 plus meals a day for them) plus a half a pound. Will be interesting to see if it continues to go down.

Lowest weight of the year today. However, I have lost some muscle. But I'm on a good cycle now that should carry me to thanksgiving.

The only easy day was yesterday! :)

Rode my bike to the gym and thought I was going to go into heat exhaustion by the time I got back.

I need to ride it more. I'd like to trade up to a road bike on day. It's fine for 20 miles but I want to farther, faster!

Haven't posted in this thread for a while, so first...

BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO SKL AND WRITER_DOM!

Respectively for your weight loss and continuing with the exercise even in the heat (that, coming from SF, seems really, really hard to me).

I am weighing in here first, instead of on the "getting healthy" thread because my official weigh in there is Monday and I'm afraid of jinxing it, but had to announce it:

With food combining, lots of water, rotation dieting (what I think that you mean, Kierae, by calorie cycling), and starting my conditioning exercising again (I always walk), I think that I've finally jump-started my metabolism again! When I started on Monday, I weighed in at 178.

I got on the scale today - it was 173!!! :nana: :nana: :nana:

Cherrysweetdeal, I loved your question - In addition to my eyes, I like my neck/collarbone. I love my arms and legs - they are toned and really strong. ~D loves all of me, but particularly my ass (also pretty darn muscled under the layer of padding) so I guess that I'd have to say I like that, too. :D

So after being sick with a fever over 100 for a couple days and not going to the gym except for once a week I am down to 155 but that is probably because I've lost a little bit of muscle.

Oh well... not much you can do when you feel like your going to spontaneously combust but I guess I should be kicking my own ass to keep me going... It's hard sometimes...

LOL Cherry, I don't blame you a bit so quit beating yourself up (or carry on if you enjoy that AND its cardio ;) ). Glad to see folks still pushing forward regardless of life's stressors!

I have managed to break into the last 5 pounds which is a joke considering I could do another 5 pounds after that (and will) - but still exciting to see a weight I haven't seen in several years. It is wonderful to have dropped 5-6 dress sizes and lord knows the confidence it has brought about! Ironically it kicks in my switching in a major way though which can be interesting..hehe.

It's always a good feeling to be able to look at a picture of you now and a picture from before and see a major difference. Sometimes 5-6 dress sizes can make you feel that much better especially when it comes to cleaning out the closet and replacing what you lost heh.

Well it's been a while since I last posted on lit, so I figure this is a good place to start again. My overall weight loss has been sucking lately, I've put on pounds and slacked off a bunch at the gym lately, so I guess it's time to pick it up again and keep moving towards my goals.

This thread needed a bump..

K so after no working out for my month or so and finally going back I am at my 156 mark which is pretty good so that makes me happy.

Wow.. I just found this thread.

The husband and I have been doing Atkins since last December. So I guess I can start with this...

Today's weight: 265.1

Ive lsot five pounds in the last three months, now I don't think I can lose weight, jsut . . . a little bit of chubby. I'm at 135.

Goonna try to cut back on the Coke intake, and the carbs. I think If I can limit myself to pasta two or three times a week rather than two meals every day I should be doing a lot better.

New goals... new clothes

So in order to motivate myself I bought myself a dress that I can wear for new years.... the only thing is that I have to tone up to fit into it properly.

So in order to reach that goal i will have to probably lose atleast 5 to 10 lbs...

We'll see how that goes but currently I am probably at about 162ish. so its not to bad. In order to fit into this dress properly I have to lose some of the fat in my legs and my hips and a little in my ass. but mostly thigh.

Here we go guys this is the dress and maybe later I'll get a picture of me in it at some point.

NICE dress! You can do it! Work hard, the results will be worth it!!!

Bump....

So yea currently measurements are 36-25-43.... big hips and butt apparently its not so bad though. I figured this thread needed a bump to get us all back into the spirit of working out, especially when we've all dealt with christmas and new years.
