The Walking Dead

They have absolutely no issues killing people off. I think they were sending more of a message about what it takes to survive in that world.

When you know that anyone can go, at any time (with the possible exception of Rick), it does put you on edge.

Nevertheless, one day Rick will die...I guess when they see fit or ratings plummet...

Moral of the story:
If you're a black guy during the Zombie Apocalypse you best keep your head on a swivel.

Especially if you find yourself monologuing.

Right, just like if its Captain Kirk, Spock, Chekov and Lt Smith investigating a new planet......take a guess who will die....

The show continues to crumble. I still watch it, and it still has good moments and even good episodes ( the 5th season premier last year ) but, it has slid into such a black hole of awful I don't know if it can ever really recover.

Did anyone think Eugene The Mullet Boy ( hands down..even including Corl...the worst actor to appear on the series ) really had a cure ? And his revelation was presented as some show stopping jaw dropper. That guy, along with the red haired fool, gotta go :)

It isn't quite as terrible as the season they wasted on The Governor, that super duper boogeyman who was smarter than everyone and could kick anyone's ass at anytime, anywhere. But, after a good hard edged season debut, the season has tanked fast. The entire hospital arc was really just embarrassing.

It is frustrating since the series started so strong, but after AMC played cheap and fired Frank Darabont, it has stumbled and fumbled along with a few highs and more frequent lows.

Just...sad. :(

I'd settle for more guns, more action and some tits flying.....I'd watch that all day.

Fucking Maggies gorgeous though. Did you see her on TD?

That's funny, because when I watched the episode, I remember thinking "Damn, this is the first time I've ever seen Maggie look so rough." She does clean up well. Actually, all the women in the cast do.

Not a stellar hour. A little too much grimness without any real action coming on the heels of last week, which may have been the bleakest episode ever. Maybe I've been spoiled by the long stretch where our heroes were mostly dealing with human antagonists, because I kind of miss them.

The ending did make me interested in what comes next, though.

The one thing that is intersting is that the group is more afraid of humans than Zombies....

I think, by this time, they know how to handle zombies. I mean, there are only two options after all--kill or be killed. It would make sense that the unknown of strangers would scare them more given all that they've been through with the Governor, the people at Terminus, the hospital, etc.

Looks like they are going to find another 'community', given the Land End model cleanliness of the newest person the group encounters. But this kind of brings up the question of Rick's leadership ability. So far they have encountered Hershel's farm, Woodbury, Terminus, and lone black guy from season one, I forget his name. All have set up a relatively stable secure location, until Rick and the gang show up. The best stable place Rick's crew had was the prison, even then they lived below the standards of Woodbury.

So this brings up the question of Rick's leadership ability. Why are other survivors able to develop communities, albeit twisted, but more secure than anything Rick can do. Rick's group is getting worse, degrading from the farm to the prison to foraging.

Is Rick really a good leader or not?

Was interesting that Rick denoted the group as "The Walking Dead"

I agree with whoever mentioned it here or elsewhere I can't recall but it seems that the group is becoming the problem.

Not the Zombies OR the other groups.

Thats why they are so focused on this inner drama going on in each of their heads.

They know it too.

This new character is a gay character apparently....they need more tits flopping in sweaty tee shirts....

I knew there had to be a reason for him to be that clean.

The farm was doomed in the long run even if Rick's people hadn't shown up. And they would have been content to leave Woodbury alone; it was the kidnapping of Glenn and Maggie that sparked that conflict.

Is it possible to have a stable community in this world that's safe and can provide for itself, without being run as a military camp or luring others for the purposes of killing and eating them? That's the central question. That's what was going through Tyreese's mind as he was dying and being taunted by the visions of the Governor and the Terminus dipshit calling him too soft to live.

I'm curious to find out what the connection is between people who were in the town where Noel lived and the girl in Alexandria.

Sasha should die for being so stupid and ignoring the plan on the bridge.

The barn being swarmed by zombies was a dumb scene. Barn doors never open inwards. At least no barn I've ever seen had them open inwards. Always a sliding door or opening outwards.

I loved Carol's little talk with the boy.

Something strange is brewing methinks.

And Sasha needs to hold her shit together, man.
