They had commercials almost literally every 5 minutes. That kind of shit makes you start rooting for the zombies. And the end of the episode...come on. I will assume it gets better next week.
Who is stamping the walkers' foreheads and why?
Used to be, you could just wait a few days and watch most of your favorite shows On Demand and fast forward through the commercials. Now you can't even do that.
This kind of behavior is why I watch about 1/4 as much TV as I did just 5 years ago.
Then there was this (which is what I was referring to a few posts back, this and the wall scrawl). The Wolves
back in the episode that Tyrese died, there was grafitti scrawled on the wall " wolves not far"

The new Walking Dead show isn't exactly a prequel; it's just following a separate set of events in the same zombie apocalypse. A true prequel would show Rick and Shane going around doing sheriffy things.
It's really weird how complacent the Alexandrians are.
I'm curious to find out what the connection is between people who were in the town where Noel lived and the girl in Alexandria.
Sasha should die for being so stupid and ignoring the plan on the bridge.
The barn being swarmed by zombies was a dumb scene. Barn doors never open inwards. At least no barn I've ever seen had them open inwards. Always a sliding door or opening outwards.
I loved Carol's little talk with the boy.

They seem to think their walls will protect them. How wrong they are...
But that's just because the plot will fuck Rick. The reality is their walls have probably held for the better part of. . .how ever many years in we are. I've actually tried to plot it out and it's tricky. We know Seasons 1-3 take place over no more than a year since it was heavily implied that Shane was the one who got Lori pregnant. We have a timeskip after Season 3 to skip winter, presumably another time skip at the beginning of S4 since they had crops and pigs and the sort. And then S5 is probably just a few days or weeks at most.
I must have missed that line. I keep wondering when they are going to do a big time skip. . .or kill Carl. I mean at some point they aren't going to be able to keep getting away with claiming he's twelve or however old he's supposed to be instead of closer to how old he actually is. Last season they did a lot of work to keep him from standing too close to people and or sitting, this year it's like they just threw up their hands and declared fuck it.
In the comics though the time skip is entirely for story reasons. You just jumped a head because nothing interesting happened for a while. But you could keep Carl a kid for. . .how long has the Simpsons been going? Twenty five years? And it makes no difference.
I haven't read the comics this far anyway, I stopped right around the governor and just never got back around to it and then looked up one day and saw how fucking far they'd gotten and just kind of gave up.
I hope Carol dies. She's a problem.
She's wacko.
