The Walking Dead

Michonne as well. don't forget she's the one who knocked Rick out.

I doubt Michonne, she was doing her job and saving Rick at the same time. Plus Rick and her are really tight...

but, god forbid, maybe Maggie....she wasnt in the last show, just saying

Honestly I worry about Carl. Pretty soon it's gonna be impossible to pretend he's twelve and while I haven't read too much of the comics past this point it doesn't seem like there is anything he's destined to do that can't be lumped onto Glenn to give him something to do other than be the resident Asian. And since he appears to be the last Asian on earth I think he'll be around for a while.

Gabriel is fucked though, probably around when Morgan catches up.

Thats almost impossible since they are in Virginia and so close to DC....

You can't kill of Carol the Cookie Monster!!! The preacher has to go first.

I hope Carl and Gabriel die in the season finale, or at the beginning of the next season.

If they really wanted to cause some havoc in Alexandria, just suffocate one of the residents and let them feast on a few of the other residents.

And I was just starting to NOT wish Carl would die every episode ;)

Been a while since I watched this show. Can the walkers walk underwater? Like could they walk through a pond or swimming pool even if the water is over their heads?

We've seen them chained under water and alive.

You should catch up. :)

Three seasons was enough for me. If I wanted to see dirty people repeatedly make dumb decisions I would have just stayed in my hometown.

So many times for Gabriel to die tonight. So many times to be disappointed. Maybe he will look at the flowers next year.

He's working my last nerve. The zombie apocalypse is no place for his brand of whiny angst. Besides, now everyone knows what he told Deanna. Things got a little complicated at the end of the episode so there was no time to digest that news, but how does he come back from that?

I call bullshit on Glenn surviving. He's been shot, he's exhausted from a fight, AND walkers are piling on top of him. I knew he had to have lived because they don't kill off regulars without us seeing it happen, but it's still a cheat.

I'm proud of Carol for living. I was wrong. And. . .damn Glenn. I know Plot Armor comes in regular, strong and WTF?! But you got some Super WTF Plot Armor. I didn't even know it came in that level. I want some!

Whelp, two adult black males. Father Gabriel if you last to the Mid Season Finale I'll shit a solid brick.

Carl, Chandler Riggs is 15 years old ....

What's that got to do with Carl being between 12 and 13?

It doesn't matter, I call time skip. This is a perfectly safe place for them to say "And nothing much happened for two years so Carl is the same age or a little older than Chandler Riggs. Which is the point I was making.

I have to agree, especially about Glenn. I also thought that the escape from the wolves trap was also unbelievable. There were simply too many walkers to kill.

The rest of the episode was great. I loved Carol explaining the facts of life to the wife beater.

I started watching the Talking Dead and really like listening to the actors take on their characters. Although the host annoys the crap out of me.

What was the trap supposed to accomplish? Just figure that random people will show up to loot the trucks and get killed for their trouble, and then whatever supplies they happened to have with them would get looted? It seems inefficient.

The more I think about it, the second half of the season just seemed rushed. There was some real potential from the idea of Rick, and to a lesser extent the rest of the group, being seen as threatening to the well-intentioned if kinda dumb Alexandrians. But we went from them being introduced to everyone, to Rick being given responsibility, to Rick flipping out and being on the verge of banishment, to everyone coming around to his point of view and watching as he carries out an execution -- in the space of 5 episodes. The tension built rapidly and then was dissipated even faster. When you consider Gabriel wasn't on the show last week, him being revealed as a potential villain and then being "redeemed" happened in consecutive appearances for the character.

(On the subject of Alexandria being populated by dopes: what's with the one guard saying to Gabriel, "Hey, dude I just met who seems to be mentally ill. Can you close this gate for me? The 15 seconds it would take for me to do it myself would keep me from all the exciting stuff in my life behind these walls during the zombie apocalypse." You can't possibly be that casual about things and stay alive for long.)

As for super Morgan becoming Samson and slaying a thousand, okay, a hundred walkers with his stick, little over the top. Morgan should have banged on the fence, drawn the walkers away, so Aaron and Daryl could have escaped.

Yeah, a trap for what purpose?

Glenn's escape, a little too much, maybe a couple of walkers, but several?

The guard at the gate, to nonchalant, that was his fucking job, I think they just had him act too nonchalant. More subtle negligence would have been better.

How many people in Alexandria? Not that many it looks like.

No alarm system if the walls are breached, Rick just runs around and doesn't try to warn anyone?

Time for Alexandria to man up, the Wolves are coming.

Oh make no mistake Carol is still high on the chopping block. I'm impressed she got this far and she can probably thank Pete for surviving till the last second because she had to die after him. Still if you've got a death pool for this show put her high on your charts gents.

As for being this stupid and living this long, hell yeah you can be this dumb and dumber and survive this long. Were you watching Season 3 and how casual they were starting to get? And had the Governor never come along with a fuck mothering TANK no less I promise you something as casual as "hey get the gate" wouldn't have been too far behind Rick doing a perimeter check without a gun because he doesn't need it. I also have to assume that due to retarded plot reasons things were going much better before Rick and his group showed as far as random raids just going horribly wrong.

Look we all knew Glenn was alive as improbable as it was and Daryl cannot die.

One time a walker bit Daryl and after three agonizing days the Walker came back to life.
