I've had my xbox for a good half year now..

And just today I figured out how to make the screen change full to all those colors and lines that are in that small window beside the list.

Hit Y then X.

Too friggin simple.. But they don't explain it in the manual.

Let's talk about old school games, as I barely know how to translate computer language. How about stuff like Bionic Commando and Dr. Mario and stuff...even Atari...though I never had one.

Bionic Commando - the only game I know of where you get to watch Hitler's (excuse me, Master D's) head graphially explode after you hit his helicopter with the bazooka. You only get the weapon once in the game, and with only one shot - but what a shot it is!

Some classic Intellivision anyone? Tron Deadly Disks baby. Since no one knows what I'm talking about, lemme just say:

It's through Avon oddly enough. It's an atari controller with 10 atari games built into it. So you don't actually need an atari system it hooks up to your TV like a regular system would, but it's only a controller. It was pretty cool.

Yes, I too still have my atari with 40+ odd carts, great games include warlords with the paddles, adventure is a classic too. My all time favorites include icehockey by activision, hero by activision, and subhunt.

If any of you still have a supercharger, and yes I do....try to run communist mutants from outerspace via a cassette tape for laughts. That takes you way back, when you used to run games off your Commodore 64 on cassette. Wizard of War anyone, or is human cannon ball more to your liking. Vanguard was a dissapointment as was packman, but hey Raiders of the lost ark and the babbling idiot found in the black market are still some of those treasured memories.

Say does anyone have links to classic atari games, made into flash games? That would be a riot indeed.

All it is Cibo, is that small circlular window that flashes those lines and colors as your music plays.. hitting Y then X zooms in on it and enlarges it to cover the screen.

ive gone for a 40 GB maxtor single platter drive meaning it will be very very quiet cool ... i could of got a 60 GB for same price but non single platter so i've gone for the quiet one and also got a silent cpu fan

I'm used to the computer noise by now....hehehe. About a year ago, I bought myself a Sunon 120mm 12v case fan, that blows 132 cfm (cubic feet per minute). It's a little noisy to say the least. I've seen household refridgerators that were more quiet than my PC...lol. I mounted it in the lower-front as intake, and then used an air-conditioner filter to keep it from sucking in all the dust (and cat hair) from my room. The fan keeps my PC nice & cool, and the filter keeps it relatively dust-free... So there's trade-offs with everything... I'm happy, and that's all that counts for me. Glad you are too!

I've got an Atari 2600, with probably somewhere around 40-50 games for it. Not sure if they still work or not, as it's been in my basement, untouched, for nearly 5 years now.... but I'm confident it's still in working order.

I'm not sure about "Bionic Commando", or "Tron: Deadly Discs"... there was "Discs of Tron", I know that, but never played either of them.

I liked the original Tron game from the arcade... with the joystick that looked like a jet-fighter stick, and the spinner. The game had 4 phases: Tanks, spiders, light-cycles, and the rotating light wall. I downloaded the Mame32 emulator and played it on my PC a couple years ago, and fell in love with the game all over again. I even bought the 20th anniversary edition of Tron on DVD last year... I love it...

Now "Adventure" WAS a cool game! I beat it on levels 1 and 2, but never on level 3... I always got screwed by the bat taking my bridge to some other screen, or get cornered by the dragons when I had the White Key... wtf... i just couldn't win. Gotta love the winning screen, though... flashing technicolor and triumphant music...

speaking of old games the mother of all FPS's doom has a website that has done a 3d and graphic update for it

I hear Doom3 is gonna be the mother of all FPS. All totally 3d rendered, just fuckin off the chain graphics...of course, i'll never play it, cause it'll more than likely make my laptop melt or self destruct or something...but it'd be awesome to play just once. And from what i understand, some movie company has bought the rights to turn it in a motion picture....

Personally, i'm waiting for the House of the Dead movie...zombies...YESSSSSSSS!

i have the alpha version of doom 3 its very very cool even at an early stage its the best graphics i've ever seen for a game and it was running low detail

it seems like great fun too

well it won't be out for quite a while yet so maybe you'll have a good computer by then ... i think they are planning a downgraded version for x-box too but that won't be till after the PC version


i've got this av because of a challegene from perky baby ... i usually swap my av's around i get bored looking at the same thing i'll use the bikini one again eventually
