Welcome welcome. It's good to see that my membership drive was fruitful I love all Final Fantasies...hell, I love any game that's good...unlike the new Turok How is Robotech? I was thinking about at least renting it, as it looked really cool, but I've never seen the show.

I haven't played the Robotech game yet, but I'm gunna have to rent it this week. so I can't tell you how the game is.


But as to how robotech is....It's Awesome! I'm a huge robotech fan. I've worn out my copy of the series on Video tape. (6 tapes! all gone, worn out, wrecked!) I own all the books except the first 3 (and all of them are getting ragged) As well as a number of Macross movies. My computer's name is Sharon Apple. *grins*

Hey anyone seen screenies from Final Fantasy X-2? Or even heard about it? I'm excited about this one, 'cause it's the first full on sequel to a Final Fantasy game! and X was one of the best! (right up there with 8 and 4 {2 us}).

Cibo, I gotta admit you were 110% right about Shenume.. I didn't think I'd like it at all, but that can be an addictive game! I actually returned it the next day even though I had it for two days because I want to wait for the day I own the game before I go through the story.

Neither look like games I'd like.. I took a look at Shenume because it did look like a game that was more than just shooting everything in sight.

I guess if I had better aim I'd enjoy them more, but I never last long in those types of games.

Crimson Sea's is sorta like Kingdom Hearts with the fighting...you go around killing shit, getting surrounded and doing super moves to kill them all. Looks bad ass.

And Medal of Honor is almost exactly like Battlefield 1942, just a few differences, but damn good fps.

im ordering a new hard disk old one crashed again but i didn't lose any data this time

might get a new chip since i have a brand new spanking motherboard with a old 1.2 ghz chip in it still ... think i'll get a 2200 XP

How much you gonna pay for the chip? I could probably get you one pretty cheap since I part time at the computer fair on saturdays.

I played an import copy of Metroid Prime a few days ago, and it rocks! I can't wait for it to be released over here.

The PS2 is really calling out for me now.....if only it wasn't so expensive to chip the damn thing!

Has anyone heard the promo's on the radio for the Rocky videogame? too funny, i laugh my ass off. Goes alittle something like this;

<in rocky voice> "Getting Stronger...." <Gonna fly now" playing in the background>

<girls voice> "What are you talking about? You've been playing that f*****g Rocky game again, havent you!?

I dunno what kind it was, but I prefer Western Digital Hard Drives. I've used many many in my experiences (building and upgrading PC's for a 500+ system company, in addition to personal use) and haven't had many that failed. Those that did, they were usually manufacturer defects that failed before the system was installed. WD also has good tools to troubleshoot and repair a drive without losing the data that's on it. It's called "WD Diagnostic Tools" and is available on their website. If the drive is un-repairable and within the 3-year warranty, they repair it at no cost.

*** Lesson I've learned - KEEP A GOOD, RECENT BACKUP ALWAYS... you never know what a PC will do to you on any given day. But hey - that keeps me in business!

Hope you get your PC problems worked out. I'm still working on a Pentium III 500, and it is still doing me okay. I'm sure once I have the chance to do some real gaming on a system that's 2 or 3x faster, there will be no turning back and I'll be hardware shopping again... hehehe

Though the idea/storyline of Rocky does sound very cool, the screencaps/commercials for the game don't look anything different than Knockout Kings. That was a bad-ass game... I especially loved the "Slugfest" mode, where illegal moves were not only allowed, but ENCOURAGED... elbows to swell a guy's eye shut... Muhammed Ali vs some little white skinny guy... hehehe... and profound and obvious head-butts to knock a guy's teeth out (VISIBLE... ) before you drop him to the mat... hehehe I'm evil...

If anyone gets/plays this game and notices that it IS any different than Knockout Kings - please let me know...

it was £105 ... i should of really just gone for the 2000 XP as they are just £56 ... but i wanted the 2200 oh well

it is cool though that you work in a computer fair i've never been to one but thought about it i'd be interested to hear if there is a price gap ... i buy from overclockers.co.uk they are pretty cheap and very good


yeah funjohnny it was a fujitsu which about a month after i bought it i heard how bad they were especially the model of drive i've got a word of warning for people don't buy a fujitsu hard drive

ive gone for a 40 GB maxtor single platter drive meaning it will be very very quiet cool ... i could of got a 60 GB for same price but non single platter so i've gone for the quiet one and also got a silent cpu fan

And just today I figured out how to make the screen change full to all those colors and lines that are in that small window beside the list.
