What bear? Don't know nothing 'bout no bear.
(Right Sister Rebecca?)

I knew those panties would create some interest in returning... So we're denying the bear but not being under the bed... Think we may have to take this back to the sneak a peek thread. Sister Rebecca knows all about the bear...

Damnit, sleeping (restlessly) for a couple of hours, then just basically being awake, no sleepiness evident anywhere, just absolutely sucks. Guess I'll work for a while, see if the idiot lawyers can bore me back to sleep. <Sigh>

Don't you just love a sensitive male? :cathappy: Found this pic of the first stage of this guy's tattoo that is meant to relate to this verse:

cupid
I wake from a dream
a dream of you and I in love

I peer across our bed
you lie asleep
angelically beautiful

your radiance pales the sunrise
as it caresses your face

a glimmer catches my eye
I turn to spy cupid above us

his emaciated form
dangling from deaths scythe

I move to protect you
you are gone
wisps of mist on the sheets

my nightmare has returned
I am alone

Im just plain bored :(

Everyone must be asleep or out, Boo

Sleeping holds no interest for me :)

The following link I acquired from a thread posted by AP on the General Board makes for an interesting yet disturbing read, thought I would salvage the details for board members here.

An IM Infatuation turns to romance. Then the truth comes out.

Thanks for posting the link Rebecca. It was a very interesting read as well as a modern-day cautionary tale. We read story after story about people who have grossly mis-represnted themselves online... yet I still see many blindly trust what they read in the IM box.

Chris I would say, that considering the potential realisation of your comment would be treading on very dangerous grounds : laughs :

This is a horrible story. I wonder if it will become a movie. I'll be back to comment more later. I have to run right now.
I concur. I look forward to reading your comments Miss :rose:Fury:rose:

My pleasure Miss Callinectes. It was such a stretch to even consider in a context of reality I thought it worth sharing. Scary times for some . Fortunately, I seem to have an excellent radar for deceit both online and off. Seems not all are as fine tuned in this regard .

Heaven knows dealing with an established truth can be difficult enough in itself some days : smiles :

Hmmmn maybe there is something to that .......

To be honest. I think they both deserved what they got. Lying never did anyone any good
Out of curiosity, where would you place Brian Barrett's death in this ?

*throws roses at your feet*

Okay so I'm back. This story is several degrees of heinous.

First, is is more horrible to pretend to be an 18 year old solder and/or his father with the intention of killing yourself off and/or getting so "lost" in the fantasy you somehow think you can actually become that?

Or, to use pictures of your 18 year old daughter in a yellow bikini, pretending to be her, exchanging packages, therefore, addresses and phone numbers to put your whole family in danger?

Or, simply to use/put up with such crap as u for you and r for are?

*chuckles*

In the long run "Tommy" won the ultimate heinous award by shooting someone in RL.

This has tv movie written ALL over it.

And yet, I've been on the receiving end of online people who were that seemingly jealous and they were completely heinous about it. That's probably why I no longer cyber the way I used to because of immature (at any age) freaks like that!

This is also why MY hard limits are what they are. Fortunately, I didn't have to be threatened by someone who actually knew how to reach me and my family to find that out.

I'm glad I've never pretended to be something or someone I'm not except of course in role playing, duh. I wouldn't like myself much if I did or if I felt that was the only way I could attract someone.

The idea of using pictures of my child is absolutely off the charts of horrible for me. OMFG!

And here is a good rule of thumb re: online relationships: Obsession generally is NOT a good or healthy sign. Get out in RL more, thank you and have a good day.

Barrett shouldn't have gotten into it, but since he did his death was pointless and senseless. Montgomery needs to go away for life for that one.

His taunting his work / pogo buddy while "loving" someone who didn't really exist was also pointless. WHY do people do shit like this? He put himself in it and behaved with malice, not to mention stupidity.

Not much I can add to your post in direct regards to the article Miss :rose: Furry:rose:. You have encapsulated many of the thoughts that crossed my mind .

You even nailed ......

Or, simply to use/put up with such crap as u for you and r for are?

Reading the scroll was a whole separate exercise in masochism in itself.

As to using images of her daughter, knowing full well they would be subjected to sexual transference .......... betrayal of her own child beyond any reasonable belief. That's without even considering privacy and the clear issues of danger. Which were not in the realm of 'potential' as is conveyed in the knowledge of Brian Barrett's murder.

I have read worse transcripts over the years involving minors. Usually documented with some involvement of online predators stereotyped as male with overt leadings to pedophilia. This mother displays a whole different genre .......

I totally agree with you. It was so painful reading that cyber talk crap.

I can't imagine betraying my child like that either.

Nor can I imagine being deliberately dishonest or cruel to others.

Not traits I aspire to either.

On a completely separate note . What's the word one can use when a dominant is being an absolute chite and basking in it . You find yourself almost completely horrified yet delighted at the same time.

Bueller ...........
