Congrats! My dad and son came over today and while they were here my dad had the game on and at the time I think it was 13-0.

I am not a real big football fan, I do like it when it gets to the playoffs and there are some exciting games though.
I loved Coach Parcells on ESPN--when asked what good things he saw on offense...he said "None...Zero!" :D

Another week into the hockey season and my Lightning fall to number two in the power rankings. But, it's wayyyy early yet.

The last I heard the Lakers were leading the Mavericks by ten at halftime. Does anybody really care about the NBA anymore?

Oh, and the Avalanche retired Patrick Roy's number 33 tonight. Then, they went out and beat Calgary, 4-2.

He definitely is not afraid to let them know what he thinks about them!
True...but I'd tell the Cowboys that they suck all the time, whether they win or not! Hee Hee!

Well, the Mighty Ducks beat the Rangers 3-1 on ESPN2 tonight...weird part is that the Rangers outplayed them for the majority of the game with nothing to show for it. Go figure.

Yeah, because I'd re-name them the Cowgirls and would suspend any team member that had a run-in with the law! They are on a par with the Portland Jailblazers Basketball team of the NBA in that respect! :p PFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTT!!!! LOL

not much anymore, after they got rid of Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders and Nate Newton went to prison. The only one in trouble is Duane Goodrich for his hit and run situation. And he is no longer on the team!

Stars won in overtime last night 4-3. I caught the last few minutes on the radio on the way to work. They were down 3-1 and Guerin scored two goals in the 3rd period and then great team work they scored the winning goal 17 seconds into OT. They were calling them the comeback kids. But they also said that the 3 goals Calgary were stoppable!

Also the Mavs beat Golden State so two good wins for Big D!!!!!

Well have to wait and see what the Cowboys do. Their toughest games are all coming up this last half of the season. I heard that they were thinking that the QB was doing so much better this year than last and that they are coming along well. But they compared the stats and actually he is doing about the same as last year. But they are able to make some td's.

Bottom line is that I have NEVER liked the Cowboys (except their cheerleaders) and I doubt if I ever will. And you will be happy, the Jailblazers blew a 14 point lead to the Utah Jazz and lost 99-92 in Salt Lake City. Same shit; different year!

Eleven games, twenty-two teams on opening night, and one team scored over 100 points.

I grew up watching the Celtics and Pistons and Lakers and Blazers, the great basketball in the 1980's. I still remember my dad watching the ABA and the those great 70's teams.

I'm a huge sports fan (hell, I've been known to bet on soccer), but anymore I'd rather watch paint dry than an NBA game.

Sorry, just saw this thread and thought I'd drop in. Go Hawks!

I used to love my local team the Portland Trailblazers until they turned into the Jailblazers. Now we have sex offenders, druggies, and malcontents...I am tired of their whining.

Stars won both games against the Predators this weekend. And the Cowboys also won! What a weekend.

A fluke...total fluke--especially in the Dallas Cowgirls case! :p :D

so you are saying that is was just a fluke that the Stars beat the Predators twice and that the Mavs won????

For the Mavs and Cowgirls...yes! The Stars are immune to that...;)
