Well the Stars won last night and are in 2nd place in the division.

Go Marlins, actually I am not for either team, but since Marlins have our ex- Texas Ranger Pudge Rodriguez I will cheer them on!

Good luck Soron
I'm pulling for the Yankees They train down here in the Spring.

Would be great to see the Stars and Lightning in the Stanley Cup Finals. :rose:

I'm pulling for the Marlins since they have a Pacific NW player (Jeff Conine is from Tacoma) plus I detest Steinbrenner/the Yankees.

Danny Heatley is gone for the year, too, with knee surgery for Atlanta...wonder if he will get charged for killing his teammate Snyder in that car crash? Watched Colorado play the Wild the other night...geez--what offensive firepower they have since they have added Kariya and Selanne!! If they get the goaltending and defense plus stay away from injuries, I would have to say they are my favorite to win the Stanley Cup.

That would be cool!!!!! Of course, that would put us against each other at that point. But that would probably be a great series.

Well the Stars are now 1st in their division and Colorado is 4th/5
in their division, they lost to Edmonton. But it is too early in the season to predict who is going to do what this year! But it is going to be fun!!!!

...and I watched the Stars defeat the Wild, 4-1 tonight on ESPN2. Stu Barnes scored two goals in about 20 seconds in the second period.

Congrats to Toni on the Stars win.
The Lightning went up to Jersey and stopped the Devils win streak.

And, the Series is all tied at one a piece. I love the fall classic.

Congratulations Soron!!!!! Yeah we are both doing great! Actually the Cowboys won also, not that I am a football fan, but just thought I would throw that in there, lol.

Montreal beat Hasek and the Wings 2-1...and Richard Zednik...who played his junior hockey here in Portland--scored the winning goal! Woohoo!

AA, congrats on the Habs win. I bet psyche is pissed her Red Wings lost.

The Thrashers were in town tonight to play the Lightning. Both teams undefeated so far. Tampa Bay had the lead until the third period, Atlanta tied it up. Bolts won it in OT, Pavel Kubina goal.

Yankees win !!!!
My man...#51...Bernie Williams hit a three run homer in the 8th to seal it.

Toni, the Bucs and the Cowboys, Sunday. :rose:

Yeah, I know and I like giving you grief for not having the teams we do and jerking YOUR chain about those JAILBLAZERS!!! ;) :p

The Lightning stayed undefeated, John Grahame shut out Columbus. Vinny Lecavaliere scored the only goal of the game.

AA, I know you're happy. the Yankees lost.

The Wings were hammering the Stars 3-0 with about 8:30 left in the third period...ouch!

Hey toni...try this site by another disgruntled Portland Trailblazer fan. It even lists present and past roster members with their 'rap sheets' with the law. Here's the link...

We're safe...Toni's at work and I don't plan to be a stationary target! lol

We're number one...for now...

CBS Sportsline's power rankings came out the other day and my Tampa Bay Lightning are number one. WoooooHooooo!!!!!

Hasek comes back and they lose Hatcher, but psyche's Red Wings are number two.

three and four are the
Flyers and Ottawa.

Toni, your Stars are coming in at number five.

Soron I would not throw anything and hit you! I might at AA but not you!

Stars beat Columbus 3-2, Cowboys plays TB today at 1.

Wings also lost to the Rangers.

Hey we can't win them all, if anyone did, I would be the first to think it was fixed. You win some and lose some. It is still early. Now come around March that is when it will get interesting!

Toni, the Lightning won their sixth in a row last night, tying the '96-'97
Stars. But, you're right, it's way too early to get too excited. But, the Bolts started off hot last year, and ended up winning their division. Now, if we can just get past Jersey in the East.

The Cowboys offense is finally catching up to the defense, and as banged up as the Bucs are Dallas has a good chance of winning today. Good luck. :rose:

I'm staying on her good side, AA. But, I gotta say this one thing...

Buccaneers 16, Cowboys 0, at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Ducking, just in case

Congrats! My dad and son came over today and while they were here my dad had the game on and at the time I think it was 13-0.

I am not a real big football fan, I do like it when it gets to the playoffs and there are some exciting games though.
