Last Saturday, I deposited $31.00 in miscellaneous change into savings. Being as I rarely use cash anymore, you may wager that 90+% was picked-up "free" money.


What I don't get is, why I find almost all of it in poor neighborhoods.

The cashiers seem mildly amused because when I get $20 in "change", I ask for a 10 and two 5s.


The places I go that take cash only are so low-rent, they might not be able to break a 20.


I found out Monday that my new immediate supervisor can be told nothing, that he has "loose lips" . . . and I'd most likely be the ship he'd sink, unless he torpedoes his own fat ass first . . . or harpoons it.
