Winter used to get to me pretty badly. I've had some serious funks at this time of year.


Part of the reason that I stay so fucking busy is, depression has trouble hitting a moving target.


They had me on pills for that shit once. I cold-turkeyed my way off that shit and have been chemical-free since mid-1995.


But I do have some less-than-stellar days sometimes, because Life happens . . . .

We managed to survive our visit from all the wheels yesterday. They didn't nitpick us too badly, and we had just the right amount of stuff to find so they could feel justified. Wheels like to find things to point out.


Our carpentry/cabinet sub is dogging us. He's going to require lots of special attention to keep his ass moving. There be lost of T&M stuff now, and that's the problem.


But the VP keeps saying that we're doing an "excellent" job - his words. It almost makes me nervous sometimes . . . .
