this question is probably more apt for people with long distance relationships ... dont you hate when you're meant to meet someone over the internet and they are late ... and even worse you cant phone them because they left mobile at home :(

do you think bad things like they might be hurt ?

sexy-girl has been waiting for 30mins :(

sexy, I think ALL kinds of things are wrong, when I don't have any contact, with a person that I'm supposed to talk to on the net. From them being seriously hurt, to just running late, to not caring about me at all. It's not just you Babe. :(

Don't borrow trouble

There's plenty of time to worry later if need be. Meantime think about the times you couldn't get online cause the ISP or the computer or even the internet was having a bitchy day.

Yes,but its usually my partner that is worried. I try my darndest to make sure that I am not late. I hate for him to worry about me.

I agree with you sexy, I very much hate that and I even took it a step further. He now carries a note in his wallet that indicates if anything should happen to call me and has my number (you have to love a sensitive man).

Here's hoping you don't have to wait much longer - I for one have no concept of patience.

Dawn

breathes ... long story but she phoned me from a pay phone shes ok (she was upset about being late) ... she just had net trouble and other stuff too

she rarely ever is late and i guess thats what makes me panic even more when she is late ... thanks for the support guys :)

just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry :( .. she'll be home in a few hours though so thats good (we only was meeting over the net because i knew she was working later then usual tonight)

If it was me, I'd do my bewst to make it on time.

Sorry I was drooling over Lisa's delectable canuck ass was there a problem?

Sexygirl,
I am sorry that you had such a scare. I know how frustrating online/long distance relationships can be. It's natural to feel some anxiety when your other half can't be reached.

I'm glad all is well!
Be well,
Susan

Oh yes, it is frustrating. It is especially bad on the weekends when her hubby is around and is so jealous that she can't even get a few minutes online. Good part is that she IMs me to let me know what is happening. That's what makes the relationship so great...we communicate (strange concept, huh).

Sorry about your scare.

Yep, it concerns me. There are times I worry, because I know something could happen and I'd go through hell trying to find out about it. I certainly can't call her husband and ask. Fortunately she has given me her close girl friends phone number, so if something terrible should occur I can call and find out about it.

thankyou susan ... the thing is we dont have an online/long distance relationship anymore ... i guess her being late like this brought back all the memorys of when we did have a long distance relationship and a lot of the difficulties we had to go through because of that

we still use the internet as a tool to stay in touch when shes at work and stuff or if she has to travel and i guess today it just messed up ... it wasnt her fault though at all

scowls at azwed lol (your not meant to make me laugh when im sad) :p

Bah of course I am. Laughter cures all you silly brit. :p

Yep, I worry sometimes too. But I try to remind myself that real life takes precedence. But if they're gone for several days, I start to worry again.

Yes, it can be hard, but there's so many things that are out of their hands, comp problems, net problems, meetings going late, family issues, etc. Sometimes you just have to wait and know that they're coming.
