Good evening. The anachronisms tell me that there are 56 stories in the competition to date, with an average score of 4.10 from an average of 107 votes. Stories had an average of 8,992 views, an average of 3 favorites, and an average of 3 comments. The average ratio of votes to views is 1.03%. The average number of pages is 2.9, with the longest story being 15 pages.

So far there have been a total of 4,834 votes, 503,568 views, 187 favorites and 207 comments.

The standard deviation of scores (from the average of 4.10) is 0.43 and the standard deviation of votes (from the average of 107) is 141. The median score is 4.09, the median number of votes is 54 and the median number of pages is 2. The top 25% of scores are 4.33 or above and the bottom 25% of scores are 3.84 or below.

Sweeps

Some votes have been reduced (swept) since the start of the competition. Sigh. I really wanted to have my story complete and submitted before the weekend, but alas it is not to be. It should be done early to mid-next week though (*knock on wood*), I'm fairly close to finishing. And I have to finish and submit it for this go-round, I don't want to sit on it for a whole year!

This seems to be the contest where everything I never did before seems to be happening. I've never entered two stories and look I did it. I've never submitted an edited one, but sadly I really screwed up some of the names and needed to fix them, it doesn't change the outcome of the story, and it's not a winning piece, so I feel okay in giving the names the fix they needed to make sense.

I'm with TinyBeth here - Unmasked and Exposed had me shivering and wanting to hide under my duvet. I'm trying to work up the courage to go back and reread, vote and comment. The saddest part was that Leslie did have a taste of Heaven (love) before he ended up living in the permanent horror story of his own personal Hell.

Thanks. To be honest, I didn't know if what I was writing was good or not because I had trouble visualizing the gay sex. The story itself was close to my familiar tragic noir.

If whatever-happens is pretty non-consensual then Non-consent is probably the way to go, otherwise just stick it into Erotic Couplings (maybe with a warning about some elements of reluctance at the start).

In the previous competition, Erotic Couplings had the second-most number of views (after Incest), namely 14%. First-Time had 3% and Non-Consent had 1.3%, if that helps you decide.

You know, First Time doesn't have to involve deflowering. I have read and written quite a few stories in which the woman has a great orgasm from the first time somebody has performed oral sex on her. Sometimes it's the first real orgasm she has ever had.

Working, working, working! (On a second story)

Shouldn't really be taking the time to post here, but the thread looked low on the list. So many things to do right now! And a Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians!

If I can reread my story (The Troubles of Tiamatta) a couple of times before Friday, then it should be in before the deadline. It was going to be nonhuman. Then I was thinking (very) very light erotic horror. Now, I'm thinking it might only really fit in humour... I haven't seen a 'what the hell?' category, yet.

Ah, it's just a quirky little piece of fiction and if anyone chuckles while reading it, then it'll have done its job. Unless they're chuckling at my writing abilities...oh, I should really be used to that by now!
