Good evening. The aliens telepathically tell me that there are 46 stories in the competition to date, with an average score of 4.13 from an average of 90 votes. Personally, if I read a First Time story I would expect the deflowering to be fairly central to it.

Personally, if I read a First Time story I would expect that the consumption of a banana to be fairly central to it. First the banana would need to be held correctly (pointing out and up) and then I expect that one of the characters would lovingly peel the banana, perhaps only the tip, at first. Then maybe some tasty sauce would be applied to the soft end that was emerging from the lips of the peel. Afterwards you might expect that lips were wrapped around the banana tip, softly caressing it. Then more and more of the banana would enter the mouth, with the tongue darting over and around the luscious fruit.

After that ...

But perhaps I am getting carried away.

If you want to submit it to Lit at some point anyway, I would say a contest is the best possible place to expose it to as many readers as you can. Erotic whimsy definitely gets readers -- I have a storyline* that could be characterized as that. I'm kind of surprised I got as many readers for it (it's in a non-human category) than I got for, say, my letters & transcripts story.

I noticed that there was only one entry so far in BDSM (at least as of 6am, I haven't checked the list yet) and it wasn't doing particularly well. =/ I can just hope for the best. I had been wanting to try my hand at the category and when the contest was announced a plot bunny hopped out. I am pretty proud of it. Whether I do well in the contest or not, I'm hoping people like it enough to justify continuing to use Xanna in stories.

I just submitted my Official entry. It's in LW -- yes, I know I'm doomed because it won't be read before it gets voted on. I have a review/essay I could enter too. If I do it'll be the first time I've put two stories in one contest, granted it won't win either, so it won't hurt me.

I have gotten to where I don't look at scores anymore during these contests. They mean nothing till the end.

It's too early to buy Halloween candy. You'll scarf too much of it yourself and the rest will get stale, unless you freeze it.

Anyhow, I submitted one entry last night, and it still hasn't posted, twenty hours later. Another odd thing is it has no views showing. I had submitted it as "First Time," because the main character receives his first blow job to completion. Afterwards, he learns it came from the mouth of a cross-dresser at a Halloween party. (Yeah, sue me for being trite, okay?)

Sort of ruins the kicker to the story to submit as "cross-dresser/transsexual." Especially when I mean a point of playing up this as his first b.j.

Oh well. Changed the category and resubmitted. Probably doesn't matter. I doubt that I would even place in the contest... so it's all just in good fun.

That is odd because, usually, they would just change the category whether you liked it or not. If you objected, they might have changed it to what you wanted, but probably not. From how you describe the story, I think it does belong in TS & CD.

I've been enjoying many submissions so far and I have 2 in the queue to be posted soon.

"Wolf Tales III: The Magic" is a long romantic mystery (11 pages online). It's part of my Wolf Tales series but reads as a stand alone, exploring some possible connections between Halloween and Walpurgisnacht for some werewolves.

"Something Wicked This Way Came" is a short 4,000 word erotic horror story about two masked strangers at a costume party...a lonely woman and a man too good to be true.

I am coming out of the closet here when considering my 3rd. I want to do 3 stories just because I f****in love Halloween! I have been a reader of incest stories for some time (prefer brother/sister incest) and would like to finally try writing one. However, what do people most want to see? Mother/son, Daddy/daughter, brother/sister, or some other combo? I prefer it to be 1 on 1 and I have a plot in mind, but I'm willing to take requests for the lineup, thanks!
