The NFL is so yesterday

Want to talk about crooks? NCAA takes advantage of far more athletes than the NFL. That just ain't football either. They fuck all collegiate sports. At least they don't discriminate.
 
...also, about baseball. I know it is on the decline, unfortunately. But where are future fans going to come from when the World Series ends at midnight on school nights? I can't make it that long. There were afternoon World Series Games when i was a kid. We used to sneak our transistor radios in to school to listen. Kids nowadays will never have those memories. Plus, they organized the fun out of kid's baseball. Me and my friends played together all the time. Little League was not as popular. When we played, we didn't have the adult bullshit to deal with. We had arguments, but that was training in future negotiations. When we could not reach a settlement, we had a do-over. It was a beautiful thing. Adult involvement in youth sports is never a good thing. Pathetic assholes living their lives surreptitiously through their little angels and future allstars.

No it doesn't. It doesn't explain how the NBA makes anymore money if LeBron wins a championship than any other player. And it also undermines your claim that the league wants LeBron to win by saying the Finals in 2011 were fixed so he would lose.

Dallas only won because Mark Cuban called David Stern out. People that played in, coach in and ref in the league said it's fixed. Who the fuck are we to question that?
 
Not to make too big a deal of it, but years ago a gambling buddy of mine moved to Las Vegas and after he'd been out there for a couple of years he came back for a visit and told me NBA refs were betting on the games there. I was a little skeptical at the time, but he swore he had personal knowledge of it, and it was 100% a fact. Turned out eventually what he told me was proven to be true.

I think that was maybe an aberration, but one thing I know is if people can figure out a way to make easy money, they will. They hope not to get caught, if it's illegal, of course.

So then anytime an owner calls out the commissioner that team should win, right? And if the NBA is fixed wouldn't the owners be in on it?

Other than Donaghy who has a gambling problem, what other ref has said the NBA was fixed?

Not to mention that Dan Gilbert won the most 1 number picks I can think of lately. LeBron,Anthony Bennett, Kyrie and Andrew Wiggins. Looks like Stern was paying him off to keep his mouth shut.

Stern wasn't the commissioner for some of those picks and if the league is fixed what good is a number one pick?

You don't know who the good players are because you keep claiming the league is fixed.
