The easiest way to buy lingerie is to have her browse a catalog a couple of months in advance and see what she likes. She's going to have to wear it (for a little while, at least!), so she might as well have something that's also comfortable.

Sure, I'd buy lingere. I've done it before, not all that long ago either, and I'll do it again.

I like shopping in botiques for it, rather than on-line. And I try to know what my SO likes, and absolutely know her size (I can usually estimate pretty good, but always check too.)

I like to buy things that are primarily comfortable, stuff she can use everyday. But that are sexy and classy too, not trashy.

Toys for the bedroom are a whole different story, I'll take the huge product range available on-line, over my local XXX stores anyday. Though I browse them for ideas regularly too. I think this year calls for hand cuffs, a special vibrator, and a bit of a surprise.
