In areas where the First Nations populations are denser there's a clear difference in accents too. More classically "Canadian".
Define "denser" with numbers.
I live in an area much denser than yours but don't see a difference.
The first nations people do have their own accent and it is more noticible on reserve than off.
it doesen't seem to attach to non aboriginal though, although I know a sweet little blonde that does a hell of an imitation
