Timelines are important.
March is not January...
Except the Obama administration left the Trump administration a playbook on how to handle exactly this kind of epidemic that he promptly ignored because he knew better.
Russ Vought, the acting director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, on Tuesday doubled down on proposed cuts to health services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), despite the coronavirus outbreak.
Vought came under intense questioning from Rep. Matt Cartwright (D-Pa.) at a hearing about President Trump's 2021 budget request. It proposed cutting Health and Human Services funding by $9.5 billion, including a 15 percent cut of $1.2 billion to the CDC and a $35 million decrease to the Infectious Diseases Rapid Response Reserve Fund's annual contribution.

Failed to replace stock in strategic medical reserves
Fine, let's look at Trump's comments starting at the end of February:
3. "The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!" (February 22)
4. "We're going very substantially down, not up. ... We have it so well under control. I mean, we really have done a very good job." (February 26)
5. "This is a flu. This is like a flu. ... It's a little like the regular flu that we have flu shots for. And we'll essentially have a flu shot for this in a fairly quick manner." (February 26)
6. "It's going to disappear. One day —it's like a miracle — it will disappear. And from our shores, we — you know, it could get worse before it gets better. It could maybe go away. We'll see what happens. Nobody really knows." (February 27)
7. "No, I'm not concerned at all. No, I'm not. No, we've done a great job." (March 8)
8. "So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 death. Think about that!" (March 9)
9. "This is a very contagious virus. It's incredible. But it's something we have tremendous control of." (March 15)
TDS is continuing to defend this moron. And wait until his mismanagement of ordering and decision making comes under review. The magnitude of his incompetence will become even more apparent, well, at least to anyone who isn't a RWCJ moron.
As usual, you take individual statements and knit them together out of context in order to create a false narrative even though you've been told that this is fake news.
But, also as usual, you continue to run headlong into the same brick wall despite the advice you're given.
what's out of context? he gave you exact quotes with dates. you're pretending to be a lawyer and create reasonable doubt.*

You want a list of quotes when he said other things,
or maybe of the Democrats saying the same thing at the same time?
It's already been done...
do you ever shut up? you're like a retarded energizer bunny.

This is the reply of an angry loser.
Yeah, I've laid out the same case.

or maybe of the Democrats saying the same thing at the same time?

Each of those individual statements fails to include the context of the events at the time the statements were made.
Just as quoting statements made by the Demmies in Congress in November / December who were ignoring everything happening in the world while pushing the impeachment agenda bullshit, such statements are taken out of context and published only for the purpose of promoting a false narrative.
The reason no one does that is because we're not consumed by TDS like the Left is.
what have i lost? you have been shit posting for hours, loser![]()
Speaking of reading comprehension, I did not ascribe an outcome to you,
I indicated that your anger was the anger of the mentally impotent...

The stockpile for ventilators was depleted before Obama took office. A contract was signed by Bush with a company that was supposed to develop easily transportable ventilators. They dropped the ball and didn't deliver after 5 years. Then a new company had to be found.
Trump has been in office for 3 years. More than enough time to address the problem for such an effective businessman, no?
“President Trump has repeatedly assured Americans that the federal government is holding 10,000 ventilators in reserve to ship to the hardest-hit hospitals around the nation as they struggle to keep the most critically ill patients alive,” the New York Times reports.
“But what federal officials have neglected to mention is that an additional 2,109 lifesaving devices are unavailable after the contract to maintain the government’s stockpile lapsed late last summer, and a contracting dispute meant that a new firm did not begin its work until late January. By then, the coronavirus crisis was already underway.”
You can keep saying that and you can post another link to that bullshit PJMedia article again but that doesn't change what he has said.
In the other thread where you tried this you ran away when you confronted with the fact that it wasn't taken out of context.
But you're good at running away from arguments you're losing.
