There's something inherently relaxing about a doggie sleeping on your tummy.

Denny------- We tease about southerners but they are the reason we ended up right where we are instead of down near the touristy areas.

We actually have one neighbor family that lives 150 miles from Daytona and have never been far out of their own county on the Gulf.
My very best friend and coworker talked funny. They lived in the middle of Alabama overlooking Guntersville Lake when he retired. More fine people.

I'd really like to live along the Blue Ridge Parkway.:rose:

My redneck kin is in Tennessee. ;)

My cat used to fall asleep on my chest when he was just a little thing.

He still did it when he was full-grown. All 15 pounds of him.

He was still my little buddy.

Some days I wake up to the cat perched on my chest, staring at me and then blinking when I open my eyes.

The Galapagos have new baby tortoises now. They've eradicated the rats and new lives came along.

Something to consider on the GB

Yep, that's a good one. have you seen Standing in the Shadows of Motown?

I've never heard of it. But it sounds great. Thanks for the suggestion:

"This documentary mixes performances, interviews and reenactments to celebrate the Funk Brothers, the 1960s soul hitmakers. As the musicians behind the Temptations, the Four Tops and others, the "brothers" were hugely successful, yet relatively anonymous compared to the famous singers they backed."

Its great. I've watched it 4-5 times at least.

Sadly, to the point of the documentary, I've never heard of the Funk Brothers.
They were the house band at Motown. If you've heard Motown, you've heard the Funk Brothers. They were top tier Detroit jazz players at the time. Watch the movie, you won't regret it.

I fucking hate reading the last available book in a series and the new one isn't due out for AGGGGGEEESSSSS GOD HOW WILL I SURVIVE

Denny---<-----that's me! The male half

My brain is empty. I have nothing to write and my wife ran off to bed.

We have no pets. Only the critters outside. Today I stared at a large hawk on the front fence for a long time, waiting to see him fly away.
I turned to the computer then back. The damned bird was gone.

So there, I blurted my last blurt until Sunday.
I am blurt free!:)

Now I can dream of cotton candy and other sweet things. :D

As the GB is my witness, NN, I will watch that doc. :)

Thanks again.
