I'm certain that I deserve it :cool:

Gonna brew two beers back-to-back this afternoon. A Pale Ale and an Amber Ale. Both with the same yeast and hop profile. 40 IBU's and 5.5 Abv each. Just gonna vary the grains and then compare the two when they are ready in a few weeks. It should be a good experiment. :)

i had the most random evening. i was in another town helping that office for the night. a girl who use to work for me was promoted and we went out for beers after.
a. i must send you the list of beers we tried because of the 15 (yes on a school night) there were like 5 that were super amazing.
b. the owner of this bar...came and sat at our table. we had ended up sitting at a table of older gentleman that were there for beer school and i was kinda helping them. and we were there for hours..and those guys were pretty regular. one was a brother in law to the owner. so i assume thats why he sat down. while i had been there for awhile i was reading and realized he was part owner in a brewey in the state up north. ive had a few of their beers and i was complaining that a. his bar didnt have any of their good beers on tap and b. you can barely find them. the guy walks out to his truck and brings me a mixed 12 pack of their beers. fucking amazing.
and he asked me to host another beer tasting there which i did about 5 years ago.

Ha, that is an awesome story. You meet the best people in bars. Classy girls too :)

You'd be a great beer school teacher. You have your PhD in it, right?
