has nothin to do with the customer base....it has to do with being an AMERICAN store.....not succumbing to those who want where they live in the US of A to look like a store in their home country.....if they want it to look like back home then they need to go back home...you don't see the Irish expecting a store here in the US to look like one in Dublin....its no different than needing to speak english and not try and change this country's national anthem to be sung in Spanish....the list goes on.....

American troops have not fought wars throughout the time the US has been a country so that some yahoo can come here from overseas and change things to suit them.....I seriously doubt a US soldier returning from duty in Iraq really wants to walk into a WalMart, a very strong image of the US, and see the atmosphere being arabic....I have nothing against arabic or any other nationality, but don't come to my country and expect things to be changed to suit you....I can almost guarantee you that if i went to Mexico, France, Japan, etc and demanded they do things in English to suit me (yeah english is an international language I know), especially change their national anthem from Spanish, French, Japanese into english so that I'll be happy....

I'm very familiar with the Arab-American population of the Detroit area. Many of them were born right here.

I wonder if Irish imagery bothers you as much, seeing how it's St. Paddy's day tomorrow. Probably not, and I can guess why.
