The Dichotomy

A few people have PM'd me lately (eat your heart out, guys) asking basically the same thing. (Note that I'm not trying to bang my own drum here. Just honestly wondering.) They've said in essence, "Look, you seem to be more than an averagely intelligent guy, and you've posted some really nice things on the board. Why do you waste your time on the 'fuck me' threads. Can't you use your mind to any greater purpose than that?"

My feeling is that I just don't see a dichotomy between having a mind and having an overt, maybe even outrageous sexuality. I believe there is room in the same brain for both. I just don't see it as an 'either/or' situation.

Has anyone else here ever had this happen to them? What are your feelings about it?

And no, I don't see any problem with dichotomy. While I usually only post on funny threads (or hijack serious ones), I will on occasion join in on a sensual one. Or add serious commentary.
