The Democrats Problem.

Looking out on the people assembled at the Democrat National Convention whats obvious is the majority of brown faces in the audience: Blacks, Latinos, Muslims, etc. The rest are sundry liberal whites: Perfessers, Gays, Lawyers, Journalists, Atheists, Jews.

Yuh gotta wonder how the party will control such diverse groups who are so antagonistic to each other. How do you reconcile a Jew with a Muslim or black?

The seeds of destruction are in this diversity.

Look on the bright side. You'll have at least four more years to post your drivel and whine about diversity. More likely twelve years, but...

Jimmy Bob, the faces of both conventions were mostly made up of "True Believer foot soldiers" aka: those who knock on doors and keep up the BLOG sphere. The Demo's will let anyone do those jobs, the Repug's are a little more particular about the "Unheartlandishly Hued". :D

What was interesting is the tone of each convention was different and I thought the Demo's bullshit was more believable, hard as that may seem to believe. Ryan was a fruit loop and Romoney is a "Good Politician", he stays bought.

The Demo's did seem to me to rev up their troops a bit better. The polls say that Obama is 3-5 points ahead in the "Convention Bump" and has a 2-4% edge in all but one of the key swing states.

The Republican Dark Lords have got to find more convincing liars, or gasp, allow a strong and capable candidate to take charge of the country and do what is right for America, instead of what he's told. Fat chance.:)

Here is a comparison of the platforms 1956-2012 for both.

Diversity isnt my problem, diversity is the Democrat problem. I mean, how do you keep disparate groups together who are antagonistic to each other. Blacks hate Jews and Mexicans, Mexicans hate blacks, ragheads hate Jews and queers, etc. Its not the same coalition Roosevelt had: small farmers, union workers, small business, social workers.

Voters take their political recommendations from their purses.

These groups aren't nearly as antagonistic to each other as you seem to think. Do you really think there isn't room in the Democratic party for liberal black people and liberal Latinos? Of course there is. People aren't as bigoted as you are... I think you're kind of assuming most people think like you do but that's simply not the case.

I find that when you get low on argument you resort to discounts and eye gouging.
