China’s population is projected to drop by half by 2100, calling into question the country’s future economic growth in the face of a sharp decline in its labor force. In contrast, America’s population and labor force is likely to be sustained if the Trump administration’s policy of reducing U.S. immigration level is reversed.

The population of China is projected to decline from 1.4 billion in 2017 to 732 million by 2100, a drop of 48%, according to a new report published in the medical journal The Lancet and authored by University of Washington School of Medicine Professor Stein Emil Vollset and 23 coauthors. The number of people of working age in China is expected to plummet. The report forecasts a decline of 64% for China's population aged 20–24 years. That is the prime age for a country’s military, the authors note.

What matters for standard of living is not gross domestic product (GDP) but per capita GDP. If China's population declines more than the GDP, the result will be a higher standard of living for the Chinese people.

Birth control? Plummeting sperm counts? LD's link is interesting in that some researchers are tying the mRNA vaccine into reduced fertility as well (That research is NOT conclusive). We don't know why it's happening, just that it IS happening.

They are a generation behind the rest of the world but their fertility rate is dropping as well. They are not even approaching replacement (ZPG) numbers. I can pull up virtually every nation of any significance and demonstrate the same demographic profile. Yes, there are nations of relative insignificance that are still growing population wise but they aren't going to make up for Asia, Europe, or most of the America's.

So far Lupus is the only one that has offered up possible solutions and possible consequences, and there will be consequences beyond our imagining. Others have offered up the it isn't happening, the UN says so. Folks, I can't remember the time the UN was right about anything.
