When I had nails put on he did most of everything because the nail tech wouldn't shorten them like I told her to. Then the chick that did my second set hurt my nails really bad . In about six months I think they'll be grown out enough to try another set. I heard about a place from someome and she say's they're really good. I just couldn't believe that in the shop she worked at approved of the "popping off" of old nails instead of soaking them off with acetone. GODDAMN it hurt and it tore my nails up.

Got good news today about the schools .... we've been placed with my first selection, meaning my munchkins will only be 300 yards from my office each day. I was hounding the central school board office all day today, until they gave me confirmation. I think they got tired of me calling

Now today's bitch? UNIFORMS???? WTF?? I hate uniforms Yes, I see the purpose of them, that's not my problem. I had to wear a uniform to school as a kid, and well, it just brings back nightmares of a strict christian school. That was one of the promises I've kept as an adult .. you know the ones you say as a child ~ "I'll never do that to MY kids".

My kids wear uniforms, and I love it. My daughter went to a regular school the first time she did Kindergarten. Every morning was a fight on what she could wear, and all that. Not to mention that A is extreemly indecisive and would take FOREVER to choose out her clothes. grr

At my kids school, though, the uniform is very relaxed. They have to wear either khaki or navy blue bottoms. Doesn't matter the style, just the color. And their tops have to be either white or navy blue. Once again, the style doesn't matter, it's just the color.

Gracie- There's a reason why I LOOOOVE my car's Chilton's manual. There's a couple of different brands of them, but I prefer the Chilton's ones (they have lots of pictures!). I had a dumbfuckintruck day a few weeks ago. I was driving to the store for something and was hot, tired and frustrated at something and when I turned the truck off there was a buzzer. D said that sometimes that buzzer will go off for seemingly no reason just turn the key off, restart the engine and turn it off again and it normally fixes the problem..ok no big deal. I did that and the goddamn buzzer was still going. I checked that the lights were off and everything was the way it should be. So I looked up the fuse that is wired for the buzzer and unplugged it while the truck chewed happily on my hand. I lost alot of skin to that damned fuse but the buzzing stopped. I went in and did my shopping. I get back to the truck and the engine won't start. I pop the hood hoping some hot young man-in-uniform would see the national sign for woman-with-truck-in-distress signal and come to help. When I go to open the hood I see what I think is the problem: The lights are ON!! this of course leads to a string of explicatives. I flag down the first person I see getting into they're car. I happen to flag down 2 AirBorne First Sergeants (leaving little spousey me feeling really small, those guys have some presence to them)! And they're mechanics too! I ask for a jump, but I don't have my cables from the move yet. They have cables. Hookem up try and start'er up. Nothing. Ok, so they're lookin and listening and they say it doens't seem that its my battery, it sounds like my starter is fuckin up. I don't have any money to fix a starter at this point in time, not to mention I can't get a hold of my husband and I'm stuck on base with no money, no food, very few diapers, no sippy cup and a fussy baby and it's 110 degrees in the shade! They offered to take me to where D was. Thank you. We go, get D and go back to where the truck sits dead. D reassures us it's NOT the starter. Turns out every now and then one of the battery cables jiggles loose and then the truck won't start. He's tried everything to make it stay, but it doesn't work so it's an accepted fact that always check the cable connection first. yeah, that day sucked.

I completely agree though, men were put on this planet to take care of car work, and any job that is slimey, excessively stinky (except for pets (though cleaning poo is a boy job) and kids, that's a generally accepted girl job) any job that would cause excess perspiration and requires heavy pushing/pulling/lifting.

Gotta love that doncha. When my car broke down on the freeway I stood there looking at my damn engine (not that I know anything about what I was looking at) hoping someone would stop. Nope, no one stopped till I"d put down the hood and was putting shoes on the kids and looking for D's harness so we could walk to a phone.

And I agree on mens jobs. I keep the house clean, I keep the kids clean, I do the errands. I even do upkeep on my car (oil, etc.). He gets to deal with the fucking car. If it was up to me I'd live on the max and I woudln't need a car. He also takes care of kitty poo, mowing the grass (mostly cause of my allergies), taking out the trash, and anything else that requires I go outside. He likes it that way - he hates doing my chores.

damn neighbors! first there were kids playing in the street, and now they are out side playing their car sterio very loudly! we do have a "quite time" clause in our lease, which starts at 10pm and it's now 11. I don't know why people have to be so noisie all the time around here anymore. I miss the quiet days. and now I have to try and get some sleep as I have to work in the morning.

At first I thought it was toothache but the dentist said nope I had strained my facial/jaw muscles through tension.
I don't grind my teeth its because of clenching my jaw during the day.
Headed for GP who gave me mild pain killers and a gel to rub on. The pain killers made me sick and the gel dried on my face in the same way cum does, so I abandoned both.

I work on the phones so I bought a headset, the pain receded a little but never actually went away.

After being with Andante for a week the pain on the way home became unbearable (Yeah, yeah I have had ALL the looks and heard ALL the jokes ).

Returned to the GP who gave me anti-inflammatories and said come back if they don't work. Well, they don't work

Went back today, he said go back to the dentist *sigh*

Went to dentist, he said my mouth and jaw are closing up (I can't have my teeth meet its too painful) and I am losing movement all because of tension on my jaw

So I need a mouth splint.
To get that I need x-rays and blood tests and I am unlikely to get the splint in the next four weeks as people are on holiday
I will have to pay for all this as well.

HOWEVER the point of this rant is NOT to moan about my health.
I am going back to see Andante in a couple of weeks.
The dentist has said any extreme mouth movements including oral sex will make the problem worse, as I am losing mouth manipulation ability.

So no giving oral until its better

Not give him oral

You have my empathy ...maybe look at it as perhaps a positive event in that it might encourage finding new things to do even more than before...not much consellation I know, but I try to find a positive in everything.
