I thought I saw Bert a week or so ago, possibly after bumping one of his old threads.

And yeah, their posting styles are definitely similar, but it's a little hard to describe that similarity (though Zumi's description was pretty on point). Suffice it to say that "Ann" was born when Bert's self-absorbed brand of sad sackery had basically stopped getting any responses. The Ann persona is more deliberately provocative, leaving aside that any man here who presents himself as female will get extra attention.

Every so often someone asks me if Batch was a Byron alt since she has not been seen since a few days before his death.
She was not, I can say that for certain, but I don't know whether she is still here under another alt.

As far as other people using a person's computer and posting stuff, yes I have seen happen. My friend's kids post as their mom's all the time on facebook, if their mom is dumb enough to step away with it open.

When Byron was found, he had about 35 windows open on his computer and was signed in all over the place. He would have not left the house with them open, but he didn't he didn't plan to be suddenly gone.

His bestie signed out of whatever he could before anyone else got there, but he is kind of a luddite, so he may not have gotten every one. I cannot vouch for where Bryon's computer is now.

I had an alt I created about 12 years or so ago that lasted for about a day. It was part of a harmless joke some were doing at the time. Those I posted with knew it was me. I long ago forgot the name I used.

I also shared a "happy" Hanns alt with one other Litster just before Hanns got himself froggied. I didn't personally use it but a few times though. It "trolled" Hanns for maybe six months or so by posting a sappy happy version of his posts after his slams. It never really caught on as popular though.

The thing that amuses me about people that are *shocked* that I would be forthright about my wanderings through lit over a 12-14 year run is how silly it would be to think that anyone is dumb enough to take anyone else completely at their face value.

You find posters you enjoy, and posters you tend to not. That has as much to do about you, and here on the GB your idiotic little alliances as it does about them.

They have thoughts to express. Some interesting, some banal. Some titillating, some sobering. Imagine if LT has an alt where he just doesn't bother to get into the men's right crap and his anti-feminism stances. Something he discusses gardening with. As it happens his counterpoint, I forget her name but she loves arguing with him. She has that racist trope for an avatar. Imagine that she also has one where she lets all that go for the day, and the two of them, unaware that they *hate* each other discuss gardening. Creepy? Really?

The fact that people that see an alt of mine that is displaying my same personality, but is unaffiliated with the drama and alliances and treat that alt differently says a lot more about them, then it does about me.

There is a lot of "the friend of my enemy is my friend" and "the friend of my enemy is my enemy" that goes on around here. Pointing that out is the third rail.

Take Rob's off-hand (minor) interaction with alts that he does not see as a threat. I could rebuff that, I could pick a fight, but why. I get plenty of that plus accusations of incest and "queer"ness from him. Why would I want to feed that cycle/ It also would be dumb because it would tend to make the alt a bit obvious. No, better to be neutral, even mildly friendly and just move past him.

I am also amused by people that assume they can "tell" how I post. I have seen no evidence that anyone here is very good at author's voice. I find most of the alt accusations ring hollow, and the obvious ones, no one wants to believe.

The latest idea that it is the missing skiddles, neglects that there is some subtly in some (not all) of the digs that would go right over skiddles head.

So, obvious trolls with an agenda that are full of vitriol? Oh, well, get over it. Benign ones walking between the raindrops? CREEEEEEEPY!

This is the thread where you planted the remark that allegedly outed the real LusterMunky. You got impatient.

You had stopped using peedrinker21 as your primary primate, but scrambled back to it when "LustreMunky" got banned because it was almost indistinguishable in name and look to the real one.

The FIRST thing you have peedrinker21 do here is pretend to "accidentally" post as peedrinker21.

You pm someone that you have already labored to convince that all three are one..and point out the "outing"

They make a remark about it.

You wait and giggle and wait some more. Nobody picks up the ball and runs with it as you anticipated. NOBODY cares.

You don't go into the thread to "discover" or remark on it yourself...you wait. For six hours. That is a lot of "refresh".

You then make another mistake. You go to the only thread that is actively addressing the "non"troversy. You had been on as peedrinker, hinting and hoping..."somebody notice...pleeeeease...."

You can NOT stand it. You sign out as peedrinker21 and immediately sign in as Drinkz and laugh about the "outing" that so far exactly one person seems even aware of...you point them exactly to the thread and post with handy hyperlinks...revealing that you had the thread open and were looking at it...

You gloated...but not on THIS thread with the manufactured 'outing". Ever.

These days the holes are legion...latest being that the February born monkey avatar is claiming that the longstanding Munkey copied 'his' avatar.

Therefore, if LusterMunky isn't Peedrinker21 (and by extension LustreMunky), why is it that only Drinkz is involved in this outing incident that was clearly contrived? He is Johnny-on-the-spot with inside knowledge, peddling it as "everybody knows."

It was sloppy, like all his attacks are. Just so bull-headed persistent that the sheer volume of bullshit that NOBODY (but him) cared about overwhelmed...people have lives and little interest in petty squabbles...

If he had left it at that after running a good member off in disgust, well....we are all big boys and girls...but he is STILL working this STUPID fantasy like it MEANS something.

The level of commitment to this is pathological. It seems to have all started as some sort of white knight crusade. Near as I can determine the damsel and he had never crossed paths, or interacted as far as I can tell since. He was browsing along saw LusterMunky snarking in the general direction of said damsel. Luster, the real Munky was mildly, kind of a dick to the damsel with a distinctly male vibe.

Drinkz had just created peedrinker21 as his Drinkz-letting-his-asshole-out alt. Drinkz didn't invent that; lots of cowardly passive aggressives have them. At that time Drinkz WAS of course an asshole, (truth will out) but I doubt he thinks his persona reflects that. This was an ID for picking fights with zero provocation.

Somewhere..... he and Munky clashed. Possibly because the damsel was irritated by Munky at the time. The why is obscure and inconsequential. Could be over nothing like most of Drinkz' fights.

Munky, a long time veteran of such trolls had no idea how committed this sociopath was. He noticed the similarity in names and personas and called Drinkz out.

Originally, pee-drinker was not intended to be a Munky clone it was just an asshole alt...once tied together, Drinkz thought he would be clever and create yet another asshole clone..

This one LustreMunky was just voiced in the childish..."MOM...tell billy to stop copying me" sort of way. Only intended to spoof and mock the actual LusterMunky. At some point to further mock, he also used the spoofing of the avatar and profile on his peedrinker21 alt.

Who knows why he decided to go from mocking, to impersonating to the convoluted plot where LusterMunky is mocking himself?

It somehow makes sense that the established Litizen, LusterMunky with his actual distinctive, recognizable personality and style leaves a cadre of friends behind... and only the alts remain, continuing to mock himself?

Drinkz has continued to spike the football after his target has clearly left the building. Why?

Drinkz thinks he is a LOT smarter than he is. "To clever by half" as they say.

He is approaching this little project like an engineer, looking for loose-ends and leaks and adding additional work efforts to keep it all on track and running smoothly.

He isn't looking at this from an author's perspective. Whether the plot he evolved actually makes sense from the motivations attributed to and demonstrated by the characters.

I get the idea this guy has a hard copy hit-list on his wall in the basement. He regularly can tell people instantly, exactly when and where they had some disagreement, what they said, why they are at war... (usually women that spurned him, or men that contradicted him)..routinely the people report the contact was initially so incidental they have no recollection of this grievous fight.

Ive bumped the thread in the darkroom that I first accosted him on...when I realized what a tool he is, I ignore him for weeks. I don't typically post a lot, I was off his radar...but every time he ran across my name, he'd carp and snark and get in his petty little digs. I ignored him like most everyone else that have had the misfortune to cross paths with this little miscreant.

Eventually, I saw him pick one fight to many and told him so.

I was aware of him having that running battle with LusterMunky. It seemed obvious to me,....although not in the detail outlined above of course; who bothers?

He's an ass, he was talking out of his ass, I thought everyone knew the Drinkz/PeeDrinker21/Lustremunky were all one.

I couldn't care less about that until I saw that he was STILL willing to go to the wall to defend that ramshackle house of cards. FOR WHAT?

When he was telling me that "no one would take my side" it made no sense to me; He was being an ass, I was being an ass back, why would anyone "take a side"? I didn't think about the fact that LusterMunky had friends who knew his character and style and insisted that Drinkz' scheme was nonsense.

It boiled downed to "who cares?"...but Drinkz takes that as an endorsement. Although if you are for LusterMunky, you are the enemy, but if you are agnostic, well that's another vote of confidence emboldening his little plan.

I've been here a long time seen a lot of miscreants, emotional adolescents, and general malcontents. All hyperbole aside, I have never seen anyone carry this level of pettiness this far, for this long.

I'd love to know where he came from:

He has pulled this shit in some other community before. He doesn't mention any hobbies to speak of but, what? Fantasy baseball? Poker? WofW? Some nerdy tech board? Something.

Here's hoping his glee to annoyance ratio makes this place a little less homey for him.
