"You might be a redneck if... your house has wheels and your truck don't." --J.FoxworthyPS. Isn't "Mobile home" something of an oxymoron ?
They took the wheels off my home but the axles remain. In my world are 'modular' or 'manufactured' homes, usually triple-wides that are factory-built, highway-hauled, and site-installed. The somewhat 'mobile' homes are single- or double-wides that can conceivably be hauled elsewhere. Then we have mini-homes, and travel trailers and fifth-wheelers that can be as large as apartments and are often infested with full-timers.
None of those are self-powered. More than a few big Greyhound-bus-size motorhomes spend most of their lives immobilized but I guess they're the epitome of "mobile home". Some include garden gnomes, oy.
What, it's midmorning already? Better brew up some more depresso, that's decaf espresso.
