It was nice and bright this morning, and the temperature was heading for 'warm & comfortable'. But the weather gods have changed their mind and decided it needs to be cooler by a substantial margin.
Time for a hot drink. Any coffee left please ?

I had to limit what I wrote last night because too much of the story was still uncooked. I let it steep overnight and now it's hard to think about anything else. There's a pretty blond flapper wearing little but a camisole who's tapping at the window in my mind.

Spent some time outside. The yard is sloppy wet but the wild flowers seem to like it. More of them than usual. It might be because of the way the rains have come, I haven't mowed as often as usual.

Inventoried the shop for materials to built the two boats that are ordered. I have enough material on hand for one. Actually, I have two built and stored in the garage but they have the rear bench storage and the son wants the two separate storage boxes. He's paying for them so that's what he'll get.

Windows in my mind. I think I had a few at one time but some have been painted over and others nailed shut. Maybe it's time to check them out. A little fresh air in here might be a good thing.

Snow? What is this snow you speak of? Oh yeah, I remember both those days way back at the first of winter.It didn't stick around long at all.

"Blonde" is considered to be antiquated by several US and UK sources I've looked at, and my spell checker doesn't recognize it as a word.

The flapper is Hannah, and she's currently sobbing in the dusty back passages of an old theater, on a staircase that leads to no-where.

I'm in old-farts-ville in a rural redneck county. Speedos and bikinis are not welcome in my vicinity, for valid aesthetic reason. (More are seen on visitors to the state prison downhill.) The nearest colleges, even CCs, are hours away. Hot squirrels and deer are about the limit here.

One quadruple espresso for breakfast today. Another tomorrow. In-between, Margaritaville. And playing surf instrumentals on my Mand'uke. Cowabunga.

This morning's coffee is going down well (we got grim weather and cold), so it's going to be tricky discovering the best outdoor clothing for shopping; or something like that.

Up early and having a K-pop and Coffee early morning writing binge before Saturday gets underway. Been on night and early morning starts to long and I woke up!!! So I thought I'd use the time. Doing some editing of "Mistaken Identity" and another story and bouncing around writing the next chapter of "Jeong Park" and roughing out "Penetration Testing" and making notes for the expansion of the Vampires Nest battle in the Troll story.

And thinking about putting another one up on Wattpad.

OED says the first use of blond for male and blonde for female dates from 1481, before anyone (except a couple of Viking oiks) had discovered America, so mebbe give the French that one.

My mainstream editor wanted to know why I used the blonde and blond in my stories. I tried to explain the female male thing but I got told right up front, write in English. French difference don't cut it here unless i use a French character.

That solved the problem for me.

Ogg, back in the day, I had black hair, a black beard, and a blond and ginger mustache. Now that was weird but the chicks dug it.

HP, one coffee come up.

Breakfast ended up being bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast. I tried for the other but got growled at. And not a good growl at that. Traffic must have been a bitch last night. The frying bacon woke her up and things are all smiles now.
