The abuse will come, but if that is where you think it should go then you should just do it. I'm going through the same thought process now on a new submission. More people will read it there. You can always delete the incendiary comments, unpleasant as they are to pick through.

@Bamagan Thank you so much for this suggestion to the OP. I have struggled with the same issue as the OP and have wondered how I could write the types of stories I do sometimes but avoid the inevitable vitriol in LW. I never even considered posting in Fetish but am certainly going to try.

I have two cheating spouse stories featuring Kate Hudson and Katie Holmes in my “Passion of Erika Christensen” series. It gets fewer readers, but they seem to have higher engagement than most other categories. Probably it has something to do with it catering to niche interests, so the readers there have more than the usual incentive to encourage authors to continue posting specialized content.

Fetish is probably your best bet, but even that gets regular raids from the no cuck brigade these days.

If you want to post swinger, extra-marital fun stories, then Loving Wives is by definition the category to post. BUT, that said, it takes a thick skin.

These are not "incels" (or at least in my analysis), but rather "monogamous-only" types who are intolerant of all others. They might be divorce guys whose wife cheated on them, or maybe just religious extremists. But from my readings of their attitudes and ratings, they HATE any story in which there is a sharing or tolerance of extra-marital sex.

Now there are some others who might call the LW voters cuddly for their positive ratings there. Butwhen you look closely at those highly rated LW stories, they entail bashing in some form of any extra-marital sex. When told from the other guy's POV fucking the wife, he might achieve a better rating for proving the husband is a wimp. But if told from the wife or husband's POV, she's a whore and he's a cuck, and they're both pathetic (in the opinions of the majority of the LW 1-bombers.

Extra-marital "fun" must at least end in divorce for LW stories to achieve a high rating.

(This comes from my own readings and posting half, 17 of 34 of my stories there.)

Now unless you post a BTB story, to survive the storm in LW, focus on the overall stats and adjust your expectations. My swinger/sharing stories always start with the 1-bombers overwhelming the rating for the first 2-3 days, then they calm down and move on. The 4-5 ratings begin to take charge after that second day, and the story will trend above a 2.2 or over 2.5. Then after the story drops off from the new list, and the following Tuesday, the routine LitE 1-scraping will jack the story up to near or over 3.0. On average, my LW stories rate at 0.8 lower than those I've posted to other categories. And in looking at the top 25 stories in five different categories, that same 0.8 to 1.0 decrement seems to prevail.

On the plus side, look at the number of views you get. My highest viewed story there has over 81k views. And I have another at near 50k views.

Sooo. If you need that Red-H for your own ego, then skip LW to take a safer route, or write a BTB-to-the-extreme story for LW. But if you want to make an emotional impact, then slam the readers with something which MAKES their heads explode!

Comments are just as easy to moderate here, you just don't get notified when you get one. That'd just make them angerier and their true power is in one-bombs.
