The Loving Wives Trolls!

Over the last few years, I've argued in several forum posts that there are authors here disparaging others, using second accounts or anonymously 1-bombing their competitions. There are those here who criticized me stating "You have no proof!"

I've also suggested there are authors here who are feeding the misogynistic attitudes in "Loving Wives" by publishing their own misogynistic crap in LW. After all, it's easier to FIND such crap, if you know it's there by putting it there!

I've recently posted three stories in Loving Wives, all titled starting with "Unique Rewards of Yoga..." about a swinger couple, with the angst of the husband in seeing his wife pulling a train, then her POV, followed by the instructor's POV.

PROOF: The non-published user "26thNC" routinely comments with disparaging posts against fun sharing stories in LW. So, after receiving that post on my story #1, I posted in this Author's forum on "Comments Which Make your Day" about "26thNC"'s negative post to the second of my stories.

So, I asked: "Why do you click on MY stories when you know you'll hate them?"
And 26thNC never responded to my last question.



Now when I published story #3 with that same title (knowing what it entails), 26thNC left another negative comment, and I came to the forum to relate it.

26thNC is one of the "turds in the swimming pool", one of you authors (different name) participating in this forum, who is creating the misogynistic shit in Loving Wives and down-voting other fun stories!!!

Within hours of me posting both of their comments here in an Author's Hangout forum thread, that ID responded.

26thNC is an author participating here in the forum under an alt ID with published stories! And I don't know which one here promotes vindictive violent BTB stories! So, it could even mean a third ID.

But that's some pervert's way of having fun.

Just be aware that those you read here in the forum may not be what you think they are!

It’s possible that some of the authors who contribute to the Author’s Hangout are also posting nasty comments on stories in the Loving Wives category under anonymous or some other username. Someone can imply that they’re doing both things: an author writing BTB stories on Literotica and posting nasty comments on other LW stories they don’t like. Maybe this 26thNC is doing that or maybe, however, this 26thNC is just playing more “mind games” with you, Lifestyle, and just implying they are an author here at Literotica when in fact they’re not one at all.

I’m not really sure it matters, in the end, at least to me. I have accepted the fact that one group of readers here will do everything in their power to drive married extra-marital fun: swinging, sharing & more stories out of Loving Wives and I assume Literotica. What did Dave Ferrie say to Jim Garrison in JFK: “it’s all fun and games; it’s all fun and games!”

Yes, I have a 24,000-word sharing/hot-wife/cuckolding themed story due to go up on Literotica/Loving Wives very soon. I think it’s a pretty good one. It’s titled: ‘The Flight of the Butterfly.’ It will receive a so called “bad score,” which is good, from my point of view. I will delete the stupid and rude comments as per usual and after a while start writing my next LW story. It’s all so routine - isn’t it…

I don’t necessarily know if it’s always cowardice. If I wrote a Gay Male story, for example, I’d probably do it on an alt account. I know from experience that some readers simply don’t pay attention to categories, even if you write up at the top “THIS IS NOT IN LOVING WIVES.” No point in surprising them with something they’re not going to enjoy.

Every once in a while you'll see comments to threads by someone who proudly says that they bomb Loving Wife stories, but it's rarely one of the regulars.

I just checked with my own alts if any of them were the troll that keeps 1-bombing my stories, and they all told me they just love my stuff. But one of them added a rolleyes emoji afterwards. Not sure what to make of that

A fairly new writer @AsheCollins, whom I follow, recently decided to block comments and votes because of the trolls. It is a shame, because she is putting out some good work. I do hope she stays active, maybe up here in the AH

Only if you naively care about the ratings.

With others here admitting they have multiple accounts and that they vote/rate their own stories, it became obvious to me that there are plenty of Red-H stories with so few votes that the 5s those authors give themselves (with their multiple accounts) plus up their stories in the rating average. I've read a few really shit stories, which have a Red-H, and I don't mean shit due to the story arc or fetish, but due to just poor-quality writing!

My post here ref 26thNC was merely the proof that authors use their alt accounts to attack others.

I've seen one author pop up frequently (no-one here in the Hangout) whose dozens of stories are barely coherent "I banged that slut with my massive black cock and came seventeen times, then I dropped five thousand bucks on her bed and left while she begged me to come back" crap, and they all have the red H.

Either it's someone voting with multiple alts, or lots of readers have much lower standards than I'd imagine possible.

I am just here to say that this kind of behavior isn't exclusive to LW. There are people who use their alts to troll, stir shit, and leave nasty comments on other authors' stories. LW category seems to inspire them the most, but we get a share of their love too.
I understand your frustration at this kind of bullshit. This place should be about a live-and-let-live kind of attitude. I mean, it's not hard to just walk away from the author or a story you dislike, but some people would rather just spew hate continuously, and the internet gives them a chance to do it with absolute impunity. Oh, well...

Frankly, might be a bit of both. It's definitely possible (and probably pretty easy) to create a bunch of alts just to upvote your own work, so I imagine there are those who do. But a lot of folks also have really low standards when it comes to writing.

There's another site that lets basically anyone post their stories, and some of the most incoherent nonsense there gets dozens of 5-star ratings and glowing comments. I recall one author whose stories were rife with spelling and punctuation errors and absolute dogshit grammar writing a note saying "If you're gonna comment about my poor grammar, fuck off. I wrote these stories to jerk off, its not that serious." And then all the comments were like "Yeah, we came to fap, who cares? 5-stars, get the bitch pregnant next time." Basically, if you came, it's 5-stars, otherwise, it's at most a 3-star story. Reminds me of a comment I saw on Lit on a 10.4k word story that had a bit of an open ending, and some anon responded "3-stars until you write an ending, but otherwise this was 5-stars." --_--

I'll give the Loving Wives readers credit where credit is due - many of them do actually fully read the stories on there and will comment on aspects they like, even sub-plots or small linking scenes.

For example, I got comments on my story 'Witness Protection Trophy Wives' saying how funny the scene was where the male detective narrating the story had to buy sanitary pads for the hot Russian trophy wife under witness protection when she gets her period, and wound up looking like a pervert in the feminine hygiene products section of the supermarket.

More recently many of the readers there loved my story about the Titanic (Bad Things Happen on April 15) and were very generous in their praise. Sure, some did say they thought the cheating wife and her lover got away too easily, that they thought the male narrator husband was weak or that the story was too long (it ran 15 pages), but it wasn't mindless hate.
