First "Loving Wives" story, what kind is it?

Well, I apologize, I ASSumed that you were looking for the LW equivalent of the Burn the Bitch stories with those cheating husbands.
Before that, we were talking about "regular" cheating stories, ones which are more like "just plain" cheating and not all the BTB, RAAC or cuck-kink drama attached.

I'm not into the hard burns of "destroy the person for the rest of their life."

I'm more into "teach them a lesson" with doing something he doesn't like, because he did something SHE told him not to do. That story which I considered a Burn the Bastard was her saying "You did WHAT? We agreed you wouldn't do that. Now, sit your ass down and watch ME!" That's why it's a RAAC story.

This is where I find some people's attitudes about LW to be self-defeating and too judgmental. There are some nuggets of good stories in any category, if you look deep enough. I'm into the straight, swinger, sharing "sex is fun" attitude, not confining, abusing, etc. But I have found stories in many other categories which I fived because I really enjoyed them.

So, if you look far enough, you'll find cheating husbands in Loving Wives, as well as at least one "EXTREME CUCKOLD"/IR BREEDING/BDSM story (That's where I say "look at the overall arc/theme of the story and PICK the appropriate category!")

My “Office Wife” story in LW is quite a bit like the OP’s plot, and has done well.

It’s set in an office instead of a church and the man isn’t married, but the general concept is similar. Her husband is completely unaware of the affair throughout the story.

“Office Wife” has 966,200 views and a 4.57 rating from 12,900 votes. And 321 comments too … the LW readers make lots of comments! 🙂

The key to getting a good reception is telling the story from the man’s perspective, IMHO.

Best of luck.

It can go wherever you put it, within reason. (For instance, I suspect Laurel would not accept it for Incest/Taboo or Nonhuman:).)

The rep is that Loving Wives is a split between "fun sex outside marriage" and "burn the bitch" readers, each half of which punishes stories they don't like with low ratings and mean comments. So, you get a big but partly-hostile audience for any story. If you have a thick skin, that might be fine, you can get a lot of readers. Otherwise, you could just use Erotic Couplings or Mature or whatever other category also fits.

Is it every okay to publish the same story in different categories/?
