Loving Wives Curse

One of my stories just went live in LW. It was designed to make men think, but also to garner hate from a certain crowd. I don't know about making men think, but it has garnered a lot of hate and currently sits at 2.19.
Many of the comments tell me they either didn't read the whole story, or they just glossed over the parts designed to make them think. I even quoted Robert Heinlein from Stranger In a Strange Land, and I think it went over their heads.
I don't think it engendered any real thought. And a score of a 2 tells me my opinion is shared. You are like Kathy Griffin. You wonder why your efforts are not appreciated. She happened to have had a successful career early on. Now she doesn't see so much respect for her efforts.

But if you enjoy spending a lot of your time thumbing your nose at the readership for them to give you a thumbs down, go right ahead.

Oh, I aimed it exactly to whom I intended. That very noisy minority who hate women, especially those with agency, those whose hate goes back to Eve, in the garden of Eden. They know who they are. I will not play nice with that group. They attack the MC, the wife, and the author and the author's family on anything that doesn't fit their sick little narrow view of the world. And, they totally ignored any facts or opinions that could possible open their eyes to a different way of thought. No apologies. I expected that type of score, which will improve as soon as the one bombers crap is wiped.

I definitely get the closeted cuck vibe from lots of my angry reviewers, i miss the times when they’d call me a slut for writing such “smut”, now they attack my writing and wish death on fictional characters.. but it does feel a bit like people bagging on trans people while finding out they’re heavy into trans porn.. they get off to it but get hella defensive afterward
i just don't understand why people feel the need to bash stories and everything else all bc its not their type of thing like ok fine and dandy its not your thing so don't read it stay with what you like but just because you don't like it doesn't mean others can't if its not your type thing then keep your opinions to yourself

I tried a few different things in my new Loving Wives story. So far the numbers are slightly ahead of where they usually are the first day, but we’ll see. Usually I have received several hateful comments but no comments at all so far, which concerns me.

Loving Wives the category well known for featuring hot steamy affairs to suspense filled BTB stories. But there is this one thing that makes this category stand out.

And that is its comments, every story featuring a cheating wife gets destroyed in the comments, from hating on the author to the wife in the story, no one escapes the curse.

As a dude I'll say it's because of underlying fear of getting cheated on, sometimes victims of cheating gets triggered and one more thing is that this word called cold male insecurity (don't what it clearly means), I think it plays an important role?

But in the end people hates cheating wives.......... and husbands.

Anything to add?
@Goodalphamale,
My dear colleague, I have been residing in the United States since 2013 and I have, from a number of casual conversations regarding MILF's and wives etc. come to realise there is a huge portion of the population that does NOT want to think, or know, about adultery. I have come to regard it, since I am in the mid-west, as being based more in religious beliefs and teachings rather than any real phobia about it. Having said that, what happens behind closed doors stays behind closed doors I believe.

Having said that I will relate, briefly, a tale of a place I worked at for a time. As a maintenance man in a mobile home community (no, not a trailer park) I came into contact with, at one time or another, all the residents and we had one resident whose sister moved into the place next to her after a marriage bust up. The sister who was already here, J, came up to me one day and said, " My sister told me she thinks you are so fucking hot with that accent and the earrings and all!" (I'm a Brit born Aussie ex-pat)
I looked at J and said, "Well, you tell your sister I'm flattered, she's a bit of a looker herself but since I'm happily married to the love of my life that's all I can say."

I don't know if that ever got relayed.
Respectfully,
D.

Strange think, but I love reading tales of wicked women - that are what I always look for; adulterers being on the tame end of that spectrum. I was put off coming to Literotica for years because the 'guidelines' (i.e. rules) seemed to warn off anything like that. But recently when I looked, those rules seemed different to what I remembered, less censorious. So here I am...and I write what I like to read, so it the site is dominated by a righteous morality police, I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Write what you like, and see what happens. There are readers for everything.
