Good Friday a religious holiday here in UK, and we get on television, THE ALAMO

not sure how accurate the film is, but at the end, there didn't appear to be much of it left

Which "Alamo"? The John Wayne or the Billy Bob Thorton?
Because while both are entertaining, and both have historical errors the John Wayne version is less accurate.

Thankyou, I will lookup the Billy Bob version.
If you like history and can get BBC tv programmes, there is an excellent series on THE NORMANS, 1066
I will leave you good people to enjoy your Monday morning from a sunny England

Yaaaaawn stretch!

Good morning Texans! How is everyone this morning? My aren't I sporadic?

Good Morning Ya'all!

Enjoying my first cup of coffee.

Snorting Diet Dr. Pepper? Really??? LOL :D

I know that it is not a popular opinion but to me coffee just doesn't smell good. Never got close enough to a cup to actually taste it but know I don't like mocha flavored things either. For years my caffeine fix was cold, sweet, and carbonated with my pepsi but these days I don't drink sodas and just have a cup or two of tea every morning. :)

Just remember it was a movie designed as entertainment. It's not a documentary.

I'm a huge history nerd. BBC routinely produces excellent documentary series and so The Normans, 1066 will be something I'll be looking into.
Thanks for the recommendation.

Tea is better tasting, better for you, and doesn't leave you with gym sweat sock locker breath.

I like Irish Breakfast or Earl Grey.
You?
