she can stop feeling that way...he wasnt...hes not a complete asshole you know...just acts differently than most...says what he wants doesnt care what anyone else thinks...its the way Ekserb is...hes too old to try and change his ways...dont think he wants to either...from what im guessin...he can get any chick he wants with his attitude...

You may be right. And I understand he acts differently than most people. Hes unique, which may be a good thing. But, I think, that if someone knocks on the things said about you on your own thread, you would think that they are putting you down too.

I can see what he is saying, that most of the things said on these threads are all sappy and lovefest type things. And hes right. They are.

I try to be tolerant. There are very few things that I cant handle, and when I hear them I tend to shoot my mouth off. But for the most part I take the things said on here with a grain of salt.

To the contrary, I find your sarcasm quite pleasing, and we see eye to eye on a few (not all) topics.

I have given your thread a cursory look and while I didn't add any thoughts of my own (I don't think I have to explain that) I did find a few pictures I liked. I tend to post comments to picture threads when the photos are of unusually high quality, and it rarely has anything to do with the subject. I've seen really hot images of really overweight women, and really shitty pictures of models. I'd avoid the model pictures for that reason. (I would not, however, avoid a model thread if the pictures were really well done. I'm not stupid, just picky.)

Maybe you're right and I'd shit myself if I read through some of the posts on your thread, but that shouldn't reflect on you - it should only reflect my disdain for your readers' comments.

1. Although I eat up the ego strokes that get posted on my thread, I do not in anyway derive my sense of self from them. That would be really sad, and if at all true I don't think I would be admitting to it.

Just wanted to revisit this post again. It reminds me of two movies.

In The Maltese Falcon, Sydney Greenstreet's character (Kasper Gutman, aka The Fat Man) says to Bogart's Sam Spade, "By jove, you're a character. One never knows what you're going to say next, but one can be assured it will be something astonishing."

I love that line.

In Howard Stern's Private Parts, one of the New York execs is having a conversation with Paul Giamatti's Pig Vomit. Pig Vomit asks why the people who say they hate Stern listen to his show for more minutes than the people who love Stern. The response: "Most common answer: I want to hear what he'll say next." (The same reason given by the people who love the show.)

Not sure if that scene actually happened in real life, but it was a great line.

So, Monique, you've elevated me to the company of Sam Spade and Howard Stern. I'm flattered!
