In an oversimplified world, you might be correct. But there are multiple reasons for someone to not comment.....for example...ongoing investigations which might want to lead someone to believe in something....they may give a different answer behind closed doors.

did anyone notice the FBI dunce could have made a blanket statement that the FBI was not involved in any violent or riotous activity without compromising the alleged "sources and methods?" The fact she didn't do so is pretty good evidence they might very well have been involved in shaping and directing the J6 riot.
