Where do you get your convienence items? Or anything...

Presonally, Wal-Mart gives me the creeps. Target is much better, even if the prices are a bit more than Wal-Mart. It's worth it.

Target rocks!

i prefer to zip to target...they have cooler stuff.....but i do shop at wally world for household crap...it's convenient during my lunch hour.....plus they carry astroglide...;)

Depends on area of town... we have a new Wal-mart in the rich part of town that is awesome... it's clean and the cashiers can count... the Wal-mart in the "no-insurance zone" is a scary place to walk into... our Target is great too... but nothing beats Ross... hidden treasures among the broken pieces... like shopping in someone's garage

 pet:heart:

Wal-Mart rules, plus it so much closer to the house. It is probably the newest Super Wal Mart in America. Just opened 3 weeks ago. That makes three supers in this area and only one Target. The Target is near CompUSA though........

But I like Wal-Mart the best.

If I have to choose one of the two, it'll be Target.

Walmart just seems......."seedy". (At least the one near me is). Nonetheless....I own Walmart stock, and not Target. lol...what a testiment to my ambivalence

To each their own...

I admit, I am a Walmart freak. Target is ok and they have some nice stuff, but the people are friendlier at Walmart.

Around here where I am, there is no Target......there are
a couple of Wal-Marts around which I've never been in.....

If I had my choice around here and there was a Target
I'd go there because I love their cool ads, and rather
pay a bit more for certain things than go cheap........

To each their own I suppose...... :)

Both Target and WalMart are on the other side of town, The 20 minutes it takes to get there isnt worth the trip. So I head for the local store down the street for the basics. Now when I do make the trip, I head for Target ,as its a cleaner more organized store:)

How did you know?

Target any day.

Besides it being close, they always have what I need. They sell more than I need so usually I pick up too much stuff.:)

I live 30 minutes from the nearest WalMart and 45 from the nearest Target. If I have the time, I prefer Target over WalMart because I can always find what I want. (Including Magic which was $1 less than it was at WalMart. But, WalMart is open 24 hours, and sometimes, I need to shop at 2am.

I've never shopped online except for books, and I don't think ordering diapers when I'm almost out would quite do the trick. :)

Target every time....I like both but the prefer Target. The clothing I can get there seems to be slighty better quality and they fit how I want them to.

Nic,

Besides....thats where I bought my ultra comfy Homer Simpson slippers, so sentimental reasons too. Now if only I could wear them to work.

I actually prefer Wal-Mart over Target. Probably mostly because W-M is much closer. But I can go into W-M and spend a couple of hours with no problem at all.

I don't have a choice!

I only have a Walmart....so I don't have any options! But, when I'm in the states......I'll spend a whole paycheque at Target!!

having built wal-marts..........TARGET rules.....fucking wal-mart is so cheep they are money hungry evil empire

Ditto. Even the part about the stock.

I'm so proud you all <sniff> I mean this is a pretty successful poll, and that's something around here.

And...TARGET rocks! Sadly, from the view from my kitchen and bedroom window...you got it, Wal-Mart. <sigh>

Wal-Mart just makes me ill, mostly sloped headed hicks wandering about in a mindless state.

I was in a Wal-Mart in Southern Illinois once...OMG. The food place there, the cafeteria, it was like a gathering place for the town. People went there just to see who was hanging out.

EVIL!

Target is my choice.
The EX worked for Target Corp so I got an extra 10% discount.
We have a super wal mart nearby. The food is so cheap there that it's hard not to buy groceries there.
