Impugning my ...erm...honour
A kangaroo court
has declared me guilty - me -
and to this I say - Poetry ....lives!

Free verse is poesy that challenges the reader. Free verse is liberty. Free verse is the flight of thought to unchartered regions, free verse is discovering the undiscovered country. Free verse is being human.

I had to look that one up: A villanelle is a 19-line poem following a specific structure and rhyme scheme.It consists of five tercets (three-line stanzas) and a final quatrain (four-line stanza). The poem utilizes two refrains (repeated lines), with the first and third lines of the first tercet alternating as refrains throughout the rest of the poem, and finally appearing as the last two lines of the quatrain.

reminds me when I had to take Calculus -- mind blown! (and not in a good way...)

but I'd love for the rest of you to try
