I saw him live, once, in the early 90's and I was hooked.

His music made so much other music possible.

Plus, it's good fuck tunes.

I'm glad he lived as long as he did, and sad that he had to go. I love Brubeck's music, and I love what it did to other people's music. A true genius. I will miss knowing he's out there somewhere.
