switching dom/mes

Same question for the dom/mes: would you, could you, have you switched, thought about switching or been in a relationship where you where on the other end? How do you feel it would effect your relationship with your subs, or would you have to go outside of these relationships or wait untill that relationship had come to an end before exploring the sub perspective?

With My last boy, W/we did talk about being equal partners and playmates, at the begining. He was/is a bit of Dom IRL and did not have trouble trading places with Me. However, I realized that I was much happier in control.

It would not have greatly changed O/our relationship. What W/we had was not based solely on BDSM or any kind of power exchange.
