I can count on both hands the number of sodas I have had in the last three years. You can purchase it by the case too...

We purchase 4 or 5 cases at a time from Sam's Club.


I've done real well with giving up pop. The dietician today said, over the next few days to have "last" meals. lol. . .Foods we know we'll never see again . . .IF we follow the plan. I plan on following it. I don't plan on trying those foods they say not to eat, because you could get sick. I figure, why find out they don't make me sick and get hooked on them again.

I gave up the soda a while ago. My next goal is to kick the caffeine before surgery date. So after I finish the tea I have prebottled and made, I'll get off of caffeine.

Thanks oh it's fine just needed to get away from here for a while was working on some stuff that wasn't mentally compatible with lit, and some minor other shit happened along at the same time to seal the deal lol

Good for you darlin...

I have never had a caffeine issue, but sure understand. I have two cups of coffee in the morning and that's it.

My problem is eating breakfast... I really have to force myself to eat so I'm not starved by lunch... ;)

I do breakfast, but it is usually left overs, I'm not fond of cereal. However, I will have to grow fond of Oatmeal over the next month and a half. :rolleyes: Sweetened with mashed fruit or with flavorings, or Splenda, no large chuncks of fruit though.

Yes, I do Oatmeal too during winter rather than cold milk... Good stuff too. Easy to make with the microwave and heart smart too. ;)

Its well and busy as always. Some good and some bad points though.
I miss you red, I hope everything goes smoothly with the whole thing, sorry i havent been around or said anything sooner.

I used to work with a girl who had had the surgery, she was very happy with the results and said she could eat anything she wanted, only in very small portions. The only foods that gave her trouble were lettuce and cabbage, apparently there was something about the texture of those that didn't agree with her new "wiring".

I hear some folks can eat whatever they want. . .I don't want to be one of those folks. lol. . .I know me, and if I am, I'm likely to eat MORE of those things and less of the healthy stuff. Once the stomach is divided, the smaller half can still stretch back out. :eek: I don't want to do this again! :eek:
