I know this first month is the hardest and I am so wishing it were over now, but I am so grateful to you and all the folks offering support in this thread and others. I know I'll have days where I'm tired of my oatmeal, baby food fruit, and cottage cheese. . .lol. . .coming here and ranting will help. Thanks.

Thank you blue. As the day creeps up on me, I am getting more excited and ready. I wish this first month was behind me already, but that isn't going to happen. I realize how lucky I am doing this when I am. . .I avoid all the holiday foods, so that is good, but also I don't have to worry about the Halloween candy either.

Thanks for the hugs and the thoughts and the I appreciate it and I do look forward to all the changes, just hope I can handle them and become so overwhelmed.

Tomorrow morning is the official first day of not eating anything I want ever again. . .since I have to have an empty stomach for surgery.

My daughter got to celebrate her birthday early today, since her dad works tomorrow and I'm in surgery the day of her birthday, so we had a yummy chocolate DQ ice cream cake after having spaghetti with homemade sauce for lunch.

I can do pasta again around mth. 3 and 4. But not the cake ever again.

Today I was told to eat whatever I wanted for breakfast and then the rest of the day fast or eat pudding, popsicles, and broth. . .So for breakfast we bid farewell to one of America's greatest foods that grace our tables and the food my family spends the most on every year (I know. . .I just reviewed the checks written over the year for next years budget. . .)

I would have had a Mt. Dew, but. . .since we only have it in 24 ounce bottles, I figured that was not fair to the plan. lol. . .

So tomorrow morning at 4am I'll be heading out with the hubby, pausing to grab my mom and then off to Indianapolis we go for surgery.

Thank you to everyone that has posted here. I appreciate it. I have read and reread the thread and I feel support from everyone. I know I worry about things I can not change, but knowing I have you all here to rant and rave with sets my mind at ease. I know I can come here and talk to everyone and you're in my corner. Thanks for that. I'm going to try and post one "I'm home" when I get home. lol. . .I'll call Wyldbreeze after surgery, or my spouse will if I can't.
