Style is a smile.

*smile*

So - what does style mean to you? I don't mean the bullshit - the fashion - the "latest" style. Real style. Lasting style. True style?

What catches your attention? What makes you look twice?

I'll tell you what style is for me.
Its just one thing...
Style is a smile.

No bullshit, no pretense.
Don't force it to fit, no error, no trial
No offense
Style is nothing more than
Nothing less than...

a *smile*

Very nice Dillinger

I think a smile can make anybody pull of the most hideous piece of clothing out there. No matter what you have on or such your true personality shows through at some point.

Thank you for the thought.

Hugs.
Peace,

If you have honesty, that's style. No bull-shit, just openness. Very stylish.

style can be seen in a sideways glance and then felt on a level that goes beyond what you see.

Grace,
The grace to admit when you are wrong, and not gloat when you are right. To accept a compliment or an insult gracefully, that's style to me.

In people, yeah, a smile. Not a plastic one, either, I want a smile I've never seen before.

In cars, something that looks like it could 1) break the sound barrier or 2) transform into a roughly humanoid robot.

In houses, at least three stories, and secret passages. I really want to have secret passages some day.

style is organic

probably genetic

part of all the ways we put ourselves out there-

stepping out in style...

:rose:

style is fun;)

Style...
A smile most definitely, you can see beauty and spirit in a true smile. Eye contact, someone who can look at you directly, while speaking. Consistency, words followed by action. Honesty and trust, very intimate and stylish.

Style is someone who doesn't crumple under pressure, accepts their mistakes with honesty, admits they are not perfect and strives every day to honestly and sincerely give someone a reason to smile.

style is what's remaining after everything else has gone

Coco Chanel

Style is a true individuality, somewhere between "I'm with the world" and "Fuck the world." You can be Fred Flintstone or Fred Rogers, Marilyn Monroe or Marilyn Manson, Tommy Lee Jones or Grace Jones. Style defines who you are.

Tough question, Dillinger, but a good one.

Style to me is the way you present yourself. Not only in the way you look - clothes-wise - but in the lift of your chin, the expression on your face, the way you walk, talk, show yourself to the world.

At least that's they way imagine it to be, as I present *myself* to
the world.

Good topic.

My style

Equal parts confidence and humility, sensuous and ascetic, womanly and childlike, bold and reserved.

These are just a few words I'd use to define myself. I believe that "Style" cannot be molded to fit or contained by words, for the minute you feel you've established what it is, it changes. My "style" is always redefining itself, breaking down walls and extending boundaries.

Style is being your own person and true to yourself. It is so hard to find someone who is genuine, most people just take on the identity they think everyone wants to see. I like people who aren't afraid to be themselves, to make their own decisions and stand by them. Someone who can admit when they are wrong. Style is someone who just "gets it". Not many people get it anymore.

Ooo! Me too. *L*

Except I once saw this creepy show about a little white creature that killed boarders. The little bugger hid out in a tiny closet with some sort of secret passage.
