Story sorting and top lists

I like the new style website so far as it has been implemented however.

Would it be possible to allow sorting of stories by Date, Views, Favorites count as well as by Rating?

The rating system seems to generate odd results: If you look at the top story lists it puts a story with a rating of 5 with 1 vote higher than a story with 4.5 rating with 100+ votes Maybe only use Rating when a certain number of Rating scores have been entered?

Also would it be possible to page more than 5 pages of results?

I know this isnt a competition but as an author I would like it if I could see some kind of ranking for my stories to better indicate how well received my writing is.
e.g. 182nd most viewed in story catagory in the last 30 days, 1000th most popular story on site etc..

All these things should be possible to implement and would improve the user experience

That only applies to the recent lists. 12 month and whatever the other shorter term one is. The all-time lists do have minimum vote totals to qualify that vary by category.

Those lists really aren't meant for authors. They're for readers. Authors can benefit by placing highly on them ( until they get vote bombed, anyway ) but they're for readers to select highly-rated stories from. Most readers won't look past page 1, so expanding them doesn't really serve their actual purpose. It's possible that when Lit updates the toplists to new versions, they will just apply the same code that's on new versions of other lists which has a never-ending "click for more" at the bottom, though. If they do that, it would give you what you're looking for, if you're willing to click that button enough times.

How do you know whether readers look past page 1?
Because when you slip to the bottom of page 1 or onto page 2, your reads fall off a cliff. LOL If you happen to get a sweep that pops you back up higher, your reads jump again. Then you get bombed and fall off a cliff again.

It's also not a universal 100 vote minimum. A few categories ( Chain Stories for example ) have lower thresholds because few stories would qualify at 100.
