Story Pending, more than a Week

I had submitted a story in early August. After it was pending for close to twenty days, I re submitted it on August 31. It is still pending. I wonder if the mods even know what's in queue.
Only advice I can give is delete and try again with a note to admin

If you resubmitted on Aug 31, that's now 6 weeks.

Try deleting the story completely and resubmitted as a New Story - that is working for some people (it worked for me)

Add a Note To Admin saying "Originally submitted early August and in Pending for 10 weeks. Deleted and Resubmitted as New Story"

The lack of communication on this issue by Site Admin is really bad
I tried that. It's still pending. A new story I submitted two days ago has been published in the meanwhile. I'm not sure what to make of this.

My last published story sat in pending for over a month (5k word count.) I have two more sitting in pending, about to hit 20 and 21 days. These are 17k and 9k words respectively.

Delete the stories completely and submit as new stories.

Fill in a New Feedback Form (under Help in your Control Panel)
- For Feedback Category - "Publishing YOur Work" is the obvious one
- For subcategory, "Story Submission" is the obvious one

Example wording included (thx Storyeller0112)

Altho I'd tag it as a Critical System Fault myself - having your story go into a Pending black hole is a major issue

Thanks for the suggestion, at this point I might as well try.

The concerning thing is that I left my last story alone, and a little after 1 month of pending it was published.

I am a little hesitant to delete and repost if its going to take another whole month. If it is purely just a manpower issue (seems to be since a single person seems to be the one responsible for reading and publishing stories) I would hate to just reset my position in the queue as it were and have to wait another full month. :/

I know some people have had success with doing so but I don't know if i want to gamble on it just yet lol

I wish the Admin/Owner was simply more transparent about the issue but whatever. It's all starting to take a little too much of my time to get my free, hobbyist stories posted on this site.

Well you could try waiting as well and give it that month or so. I wouldn't go past 6 weeks tho, that would be ridiculous

So, I guess mine (My Wife's Best Friend Ch. 04) sitting at 10 days is nothing compared to what you guys have gone through... so far. It's just this "72 hour" thing is so misleading. Used to be, publish, wait a few days, there it is... now... it's all over the place.

Oh, and don't use the "series" feature... that doesn't work. On some stuff a few months ago, as soon as I pulled them out of the series feature (put them all in draft, changed them to regular posts, and republished), I got instant results... bad results... but results nonetheless.

I have tried to delete my story, after 3 weeks, then again for 11 days, and now it is 6 days more, since Sept 12th. I officially give up. If it ever gets deleted at this point, I will be surprised.
