The only time I've used Burger King is to comment on how ugly their uniforms are, or used to be anyway.

The ugly brown uniform is seared into my memory. But that's because I've had a lifelong crush on Elisabeth Shue, and I've watched her BK commercial more times than is healthy.

I never knew she did such commercials. But yeah, I've experienced this, celebrity crushes can be unhealthy without going all the way to Hinckley level. At least it wasn't lifelong, and it went away as these things always do.

In one scene I have a guy go into a Burger King just to annoy his girlfriend who works there (in 1974).

As she counted my change, I said, "I just love that hat." It was a shapeless brown blob.

I knew she hated it. "It's one of the worst things about being here."

"And that uniform. Who would have thought brown and yellow went so well together?"
