Anonymous Comments

Can we just drop being ND as being a reason to comment anonymously. We have two counter examples. There are plenty of other reasons why people might comment anonymously.

I don't even understand the reasoning. But, yeah, let's just drop it.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I used to get more anonymous comments per story than comments from members. Now I'm not getting any anonymous comments. I logged out and left a test comment on a previous story, which did post. So, maybe I'm just crazy?

February, I haven't published anything on here since February. And that's a long time, at this site, to be still gaining new followers and not losing those who are tired of the wait.

Do people unfollow you if they don’t see you publishing? I’ve assumed that they just don’t see you, so you’re out of mind until the next story. And if they’re not logged on, they can’t follow you anyway, so it’s more that they work through your stories, leave anonymous comments if they want to, and then move onto another author.

Well, I've found that in my long gaps between postings (months, not weeks), I lose followers.
