Ice skating- judged by a bunch of old fat people that think the cold war is still on. Get rid of it. Any competition that allows you to wear anything sparkly with a tutu on it is not really a sport.

Luge or skeleton okay, make up your mind which way you're going to face and then stick with it. We don't need two separate sports where an idiot in a wetsuit slides down an ice deathchute at 80 mph on a copy of TIME magazine.

Curling- If you can drink beer and do it, you shouldn't get a medal for it.

Field hockey too many sports with goals and sticks. Get rid of one.

Fencing- this one can stay as soon as they start using real swords, and get rid of those fake ones. There would be only one medal awarded, cuz the other dudes would be dead.

Gymnastics- 11 yr. old girls should not have to carry a nations hopes and dreams on their shoulders, and I hate seeing the U.S. mens team cry every four years. It's not dignified.

Any sport a stoner can do- this includes snowboarding and freestyle skiing, as well as skateboarding, which I'm sure will be included soon. Gawd.

And don't forget Bridge and Chess because they're lobbying to have these non-sports added soon as well (Oh God, and ballroom dancing - I kid you not).... I figure that the only reason that curling was added to the Winter games is because there really isn't a whole lot happening at the winter games, just the same events over and over with varying lengths and number. Cross Country/Downhill, Figure and Speed Skating, and Hockey - not all that much when you think about it. If there weren't any Canadian athletes participating, would I care to watch? Probably not.

I say out with all the subjectively judged sports. It's sport damn it, not art. I'm iffy on the team sports too. If it's individual, and can be measured (weight, timed, height, distance)- it's on target to be an olympic event.

That's what I say too but, I think that ski jump is just downright stupid. How do you score that? Go down a hill at the end is a ramp..wheeeeeee!!!! Done. Just doesn't seem Olympic-worthy.

At the original olympics in Greece, any sport that did not have clear winner was not permitted. Any sport that required "judges" was banned. Of course, all athletes were men, and they were all nude..... so maybe a few changes were in order... well, the all men part, anyway...
