One of these days I'm going to learn how to ride a motorcycle.

What is a good bike to learn on? I like those sporty Japanese bikes best. Everyone on the island rides them.

Best bike to learn on.....Id start you out on one of the 600cc sport bikes.....like a lot of the kids ride on the island.....they are sexy and fast.....not sexy or fast enough for me though

But they are small and easy to handle......they are a bit wheelie happy though because they are shot wheelbased.

I wasnt much for riding on the street....I mean I did a lot....but its pretty dangerous.

I don't want to sound like a wimp, but 600cc sounds a bit big for me. I'm not supertall and superstrong. I don't have to go 0-60 in 3.5 secs. Someone suggested a Ninja250 or 500. What do you think of the 250?

Hmmmm I just looked at the ninja 250.........not a bad looking bike....I dont like the paint......but its a decent starter piece I suppose.....problem is that the ninja 6r is about the same size....a little heavier....but once you learn to ride youd want to dump the 250 cuz its too small.....

By comparrison....the pic of me on the green bike is whats left of a Kawasaki zx1100........with a 1215cc motor, and nitrous......lol......you could be to the sushi take out and back before I got out of the shower on that bike.
