SORRY PURPLE HAZE I TRIED TO FIND YOUR THREAD TO ADD THESE

I couldn't find a thread started by someone, I think Sparky, about ghosts. But here are two true stories from Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

First One:

Two boys of about 10 years old went cycling in a area on the outskirts of Victoria, B.C. They were gone for the afternoon, and when they returned their mother asked them where they had gone cycling. The told her that they cycled down such and such a road and turned off onto a gravel side road and on their way along that, they rode past a hotel and restaurant.

The mother looked shocked and said, "There isn't a hotel down that road and it isn't gravel!"

Getting into the car, she drove them to the area where they said they had ridden their bikes. When they turned down the road indicated, it was now paved. But the boys insisted that the road was gravel. When they arrived at a clearing, the boys pointed to it and said that the hotel was there. They described it as "wooden" But there was nothing there.

Amazed, they returned home wondering what had happened. Some days later their mother was in the library and remembered what had happened a few days previous. She began to search the archives of the area and found the road in question. A creepy feeling came over her as she found a picture of a Hotel and restaurant on the spot where the boys had seen it. The picture was from the 1800's and the buildings had long been gone having burned in a fire. She photocopied the picture and without saying anything to them, she laid the picture on the table for them to see..........."Hey, that's the hotel we saw!" They both exclaimed when they saw the picture.

Story Two: The April Ghost

In April, in the 1930's in Victoria, B.C., a woman and her estranged fiance agreed to meet at a golf course restaurant in the city to talk over their differences. Witnesses recall seeing her there, but at some point she left to meet the man outdoors. Her body was found a few days later.......murdered, and they found him dead as a result of suicide.

Now, every April since, there have been reports of seeing a mysterious woman on the golf course. She has a long white dress........seems to come out of nowhere and disappears. She glides along toward unsuspecting golfers.......the air gets cold when she appears, and she flies directly toward people with her arms extended.....then suddenly disappears before collision.

Two American tourists were driving on a road bordering the golf course when a woman in white crossed the highway in front of them. They stopped to allow her to cross. She seemed to just stare staight ahead. A little further down the highway, the same woman crossed the road in front of them again! The driver again stopped. But when it happened a THIRD time a little further down the highway yet, both tourists looked at each other incredulously. The next day on a radio talk show, they heard about the story of the April Ghost!

I was just scrolling back through the threads for something to reply to because I'm here, and I'm bored.

This one sounds good.

Okay folks, true ghost story for ya.

When my parents were first dating, they both lived out in small little country towns.

They went to a party one night out in the boonies somewhere, and on there way back, my mom felt sick. So they stopped the car...

My dad stayed inside, because I guess she didn't need him to hold her hair or something...

But she started puking....puking blood. Quite violently, or so I've been told.

She hadn't had that much to drink, but more and more blood kept coming out.

Meanwhile my dad was watching in the rearview mirror...and he saw a dark hooded figure walk up behind my mom (keep in mind this is a country road with nothing for miles but fields) who was about to tap her on the shoulder..

Well my father jumped out of the car, and yelled...'who the hell is that?' to my mom.

Mom, having been busy puking her insides out, didn't know what she was talking about....

And my dad does not believe in ghosts, but he was white as if he had just seen one, and BELIEVED that he had just seen on..

"get in the car right now" was all he said...and he proceeded to drive my mom directly to a hospital, and it turns out she had a bleeding ulcer and if she hadn't been treated that night...could of died.

I travel down that very road some nights on my own and it brings shivers down my spine.

Also from having talked to my grandmother shortly after that incident (who lives around that area) my mother and father found out that right at the very spot that they had stopped a car, about a year ago a man had died in a car crash there, wearing a black hooded winter jacket.

Scary stuff huh?
