Well I saw the late afternoon show. I dragged my twelve-year-old along as cover, otherwise I'd have looked like some weirdo.
The cinema was packed, as it's half-term break here. This very cute girl of about three immediately behind talked loudly throughout the show. I wouldn't have minded, but her comments were so jejune, a blend of pop semiotics and faux streetwise. She also kicked the back of my chair a lot.
The movie was okaay, a slightly overlong version of the TV show. Most definitely a lot of gay references. Fun.

Well, against my better judgement, we took 27 of 'em (elementary school kids -- 5 to 12 year olds) to see it.
I will say, that sundae scene was pretty good (when they get hammered on the ice cream). Other than that, it sucked.
At least we didn't lose any kids this time. Or back over one of them with the van. Tends to increase your liability premiums, you know.
